Honda Manhattan just told me August. I doubt that's correct, but the salesperson to whom I've been talking has gone quiet recently.

So hopefully they'll be available in FL when we get there so I can get one instead of something else.

IT'S HAPPENED! My dealer just called and my EX-L has arrived. They are cleaning and doing the PDI tonight after it is off loaded and I pick it up tomorrow night 6pm! WOHOOOO!
So if you are in Ohio in the Dayton area they have 6 or 7 more available all EX's except for one which is an LX. http://www.mattcastrucciautomall.com...trim=&keyword=

Just received a call from a second different dealer in Miami. Cramer Honda was one of the 15 dealers I called last week and Jim just called me to say he received an EX in today. So that is two of the fifteen dealers who have received GK fits. Looks like I might get a test drive this weekend. These dealers are also mentioning that June 15th is Honda's new official release date.

Palm Harbor Honda (Couple of miles from Dunedin) gave me a sheet today with about 10 new Fits coming in next week. Unknown if absolutely true but at least I was able to see the sheet with the vin numbers on them. Most all were EX models, different colors.

Just got back from test driving an EX-L.
I loved it (not surprised).

For context, I'm currently driving a 2001 Civic that my wife lovingly refers to as 'the tractor,' so it wasn't going to take much to impress me.

I just wanted to make sure there were no surprises before pulling the trigger on a 2015.

Drove nicely, acceleration was better than I expected (wasn't expecting much), and I was really pleasantly surprised by how useful the sideview camera was.

Local dealership received 9 cars yesterday, 2 had deposits on them and they already sold 4 more of them today. The three they had left weren't the color or model I was interested in, unfortunately.

Oh, I was also surprised by how nice the leather option was.
Leather wasn't something I was even considering... but I"m actually thinking twice now.

That's how they getcha.

Got a new Milano Red LX CVT. Very happy so far, though the CVT takes a bit of getting used to. Not a big deal though.
This is in Maryland btw.

Hey congrats ! I noticed you got the black trim around the Honda badge on the trunk. Is that something only on the LX trims?

Thanks! I think it's stainless steel colored for the higher trims? I could be wrong though.

Can you post pictures (or video) of the stereo system in the LX on and off?
Also the seats if you could?

Thanks, and my pleasure. I've been lurking around here for a while now, and this board has been invaluable to me the last two months when I almost broke down and got a Ford Focus Hatchback!
So yeah, thanks for everything.

Sure I could post some pics tomorrow (it's around 10:00 pm in the east coast). I have to say I like the physical volume knob on the LX trim, I guess because it doesn't have a touch screen? I was not looking forward to fiddling with the screen just to increase/decrease volume.

I'll be in touch with them SR45. I owe you a drink! Perhaps at the Thirsty Marlin!

I e-mailed them that I'm interested in getting one and asked when they'd be available. It would suck if after 36 years of not having a car I have to get a second choice so close to when what I want is going to be available. It's not like I'm buying a BMW (I'm too cheap)!

Any words of advice (or warning) about Palm Harbor Honda, SR45? If it's not impertinent, would you share the name of whomever gave you the sheet in case I get someone who is clueless?

Now I'm excited!

Honda Dealer in El Monte California called me today and said they have a Red EX cvt model on the lot as of today. I might check it on Friday.
