Aegean Blue EX-L with Navi on the way, ETA July 15. It's one of those dealers that tacks on a $465 "dealer fee" so told them what I was offered by another dealer who does not charge that AND would give me $300 off MSRP if I custom order one ETA September.

So I will be paying MSRP inc. destination charge plus the $465 dealer fee, but will be getting free tint and clear mask ("$800 value"). I would have shelled out some cash somewhere for a good tint anyway since I'm concerned about heat & black leather. They are the only dealer in town getting the Aegean Blue that I want, don't want to wait until September. So pretty good deal for me.

Is that the correct mileage? Wow. I thought our 1992 Accord with just under 200,000 miles was low mileage until I read this. You should be able to get a pretty good price for one with that low mileage. Good luck!

Here is the pic as requested. Had a great first day running errands around town with the fit calculated mpg of 34.6 for the day. So far we love the inside room, engine pep, and smooth driving with the iTunes running off a thumb drive in the arm rest.

34.6 mpg city driving??? Tell me that's without the a/c because if it was on, you would have beat the EPA 32 mpg city pretty handily. Nice pic, BTW.

A/C was on but we only put in about 26 miles so there is still a lot of driving left before we can say we got that type of mileage in the city on an entire tank.......but we are hoping it remains that way

So far...
Aegean Blue EX-L
MSRP: 19800 + 790 Destination = 20590
Dealer Agreed to: Discount of $645
Dealer Agreed to: $700 trade in on 2000 Civic LX with 240,000 miles and rear corner damage.

Based on agreement to $645 discount request, I placed $500 down for them to order me a blue one.

...I'll provide out the door pricing once I have it out the door

EX-L, Aegean Blue Metallic

Picked it up yesterday.

$20,590, msrp, less $400.00 discount because my employer has a deal with the dealer (it's usually invoice cost, but because this is a new model, they gave me a discount).

Plus the usual taxes, title, tags stuff.

2.49% apr, with $10k down.

Dallas Price

I paid $19025 + dealer add ons (racing stripe, tinted windows, floor mats and cargo bs). Also Gap.

After reading reviews, I still think I got a fair deal. I'm still paying less than my 2008 CR-V and have a warranty, better mpg (41 hwy so far), and all the tech. I'm happy.

Damn that blue looks amazing. Anyone know if it's the same blue used in the GE, but with a different name? The new one looks maybe a shade darker if any. I have a blue one now, and am thinking of going blue or white if I get a GK.

In fairness, it was early morning, and the sun was on the right, so the camera overcompensated a bit. Here's another one:

Yes! Would you say this photo is accurate for the daytime? Every photo I see of the Aegean Blue looks different..

Love the way the shine is more of a turquoise/ice blue!

I took that picture about 7:00 in the morning, before the sun had peeked over the trees. I would say the actual color is somewhere in between the two; in bright sunlight it looks lighter, and the darker it is, the deeper the color. Here's one more, taken in the parking lot of where I work -- you can really see what I'm talking about.:

Wow, thanks for that picture! That's really cool how different lighting makes it look like a totally different paint color. You have reaffirmed my decision to wait for a blue Fit!!

NorthWest Honda In Bellingham

I saw list price for a EX-L for around 20,995 and the client actually paid 23,000 approx. They are asking for well over odds because the car is new. I told them to stuff off and I would wait till they would sell it at retail or they had them up in Canada.

Working with the dealers = such a pain. Well after a few days, I am down to $18,713 before doc/tax/dmv for the Fit Ex CVT model

So in other words, he is offering you the car at invoice. I would say a very good deal!

Hello,

I just got off the phone with my salesman at a dealer in Schaumburg, Illinois. I recently found out about the college graduate discount of $500, and I mentioned it to him over the phone. He went ahead and told me that they do offer it BUT....you have to be working in the field that you graduated in. To me that does not sound right and I think he's BSing me. Does anyone else know about this??

I was thinking, let's assume I had a fianace degree but I was working as a cashier at MCD's. Wouldn't technically I qualify? I just feel that it is way too subjective to have to prove that you work in the field that you studied. Nowadays people typically don't work in their field of study.

Thoughts?? I already put a $500 deposit on an EX-CVT Fit. Should I take my money and run elsewhere?
