My '17 Honda Fit EX replaced my '96 Lexus LS 400. I needed something with better fuel efficiency for my commute to school.

My 2015 EX replaced my '88 Saab 900 Turbo which I had had since 2003. I had driven it literally into the ground and it was falling apart piece by piece. I was so used to it I didn't realize how dangerous it had become. Wound up selling it to the state of CA for $1000. Here's one of the last photos of it at the wrecking yard.

I've been driving vintage last-century cars for over 30 years - before the Saab I had a '73 Volvo 1800ES. The Fit was such a shock in comparison and still feels like a spaceship to me. I love it!

Our 2015 Fit EX CVT replaced our 2002 Honda Odyssey for us Dec '14.
Daughter drove the 2002 Odyssey for 2+ more years (until expensive leaks developed) and we traded in the van on a used 2009 Fit 5sp manual June '17 (with no leaks).

2004 Ford Ranger. 4 cyl, 5 speed manual trans. It was an awesome truck and still runs great. But 196k miles and no A/C. Drove it for 12 years with very few problems. Sad to see it go, but excited about the Fit!

Fit replaced Beemer

My 2018 Fit Sport replaced a VERRRY expensive (to upkeep) 2008 BMW X3. Have been a Honda guy for years, and decided to try German. Bad decision :-)

My 2018 LX replaced a 1984 Toyota Camry LE liftback. And yes I bought it new back in 1984. Incredibly reliable car until the last couple years. just about everything under the hood was still original. The Camry incidentally was bought to replace a 1975 VW Rabbit (bought new of course) which was a truly fun to drive car (MT) but had just horrible reliability and ripoff dealer repair costs. Everybody should buy a German car at least once in their lives and then never never again. When I used to take my Camry into the local Toyota dealership I'd run into all the former VW owners who had switched to Toyota about the same time as me. They were very happy to now be with Toyota.

Traded in a '95 Civic LX in on our Fit. The Civic was an excellent car, but it spent most of it's early life in OH/MI. By 2008 it was getting quite rusty. Started running poorly and I knew it needed a new fuel filter. Looked at the rusty fuel lines and decided it was time to move on. I could see that simple task turning into a mess.

One of many

I owned the 2008, 2010, 2013, and now the 2017 Fit. Every one was manual. Had to special order the 2017 as a manual. I placed the order in June and it didn't arrive until October. I find the build not as good as those from Japan.

Can anything really replace an Adventurewagen? Were you driving it daily? I didn't think any of those still got daily driven.

The AW is an icon in its class. I bought it used in 1987. It's been my daily driver although I don't drive daily. Since I retired my use has been minimal. For the last 10 years, I've averaged 1,400 miles per year. I have no need for two vehicles so the AW will be sold soon.

My 2015 Fit EX replaced a 1997 Saturn SL1, the first car that I got 100k+ out of. It was annoying that GM dropped its Saturn division in the big recession.

Traded in my 2013 Honda CR-Z EX CVT

Traded in my 2013 Honda CR-Z EX CVT for my new FIT. The CR-Z handled very well, but was too low to the ground and (due to the way I drove it) ate up tires. Storage area & height limited. Had a great heating/AC system though (which I miss).
