What vehicle did your Fit replace?
Lower payment cost and no need to make a quick car at the moment. I also didnt feel right in a Ford after owning only Japanese cars all my life. But in the end the fiesta was a great car but just not for me.
Sold: 1997 Honda Accord (25 mpg) and 2000 Nissan Xterra (16 mpg)
Bought: 2015 LX CVT (38 mpg)
I had always loved the Fit, and my old cars would not pass inspections. Im lovin the new car, and and especially the gas mileage.

Sold my '08 Honda Stream RSZ 1.8 AT to get the new Jazz RS 1.5 CVT. Old ride shows signs of old age and sold it while it still can fetch me some money to pay for down payment of the new ride. The Stream was an excellent car I've never regretted buying.

On a side note... I slept in the back of the Fit a few weeks ago and it was fine, can't say I'd do that in the Fiesta though.
Well, I currently have the 2014 Fiesta ST and a 2015 Fit. I love the Fiesta ST as real 'drivers car' with great 'bang for the buck' handling in a manual transmission and the Fit 2015 CVT is great as a cruiser car with added cargo capacity and mileage. I love both but for different reasons.

That is very true about both cars. Amazing how both can be the same size and appeal to the same market, but be so different.
As a Ford loyalist, I wanted to love the Fiesta. It looks great, economical, and even in basic trims, is huge fun to drive. But the door panels hate to acknowledge the existence of my elbows and the rear seat requires chopping off the passenger's knees. Which, last time I checked, was still illegal. Oh I wanted to love this car, but couldn't as my primary car
The Fit isn't nearly as much fun, but my gosh, the practicality of it just embarrasses the Fiesta. How can Honda cram so much room into a car that is the same size? The Fit is a much more desirable car if reality hits and it's the only car to go grocery shopping in or to pick up items at IKEA
I always say; if there was a subcompact with the Fiesta's looks and driver involvement along with the Fit's versatility, it'd be perfect. You have the best of both worlds!

Yes, the Fit has a lot of cargo capacity, love that over the fiesta for sure.
And yes, each for their own purpose, which is why I'm lucky to have both.
The elbows were happier in my Fiesta ST and I had to mod the Fit to have happy elbows. Now both are good.

But with the money I save from the fit i can put it towards a fast project car, to make up for the slowness of the fit.
Mine is replacing a 2008 BMW 335Xi. I am now driving 70 miles a day for work and I was racking up the mileage way too quick on the BMW. Coming from mostly sports cars and a luxury car, I can't say I've had an economy car in a very long time, but I welcome the gas mileage and low maintenace costs with open arms and am excited for my future with the Fit.

My bf has a Tacoma and his dream car is an F-150, but he complains every time he sees my receipts from the gas station. I get about the same number of miles from a tank as him, but his tank is twice as big
Enjoy your new gas savings and ease of parking!

2013 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum. The thing was a tank with reliability issues. I decided to get rid of the thing before the warranty was up. I bought it to help me do a move from the east coast. It's just me and my wife (childfree). We are on a quest for financial independence. With the lower overall ownership costs, I plan on keeping this car for the long haul!
