ROTTBOY, wish that post had a Like button. I'd click it.

Wrong. I am a car guy (drive SCCA), and I like it.

As do a lot of us.

IMO, if you live with a GK, day in and day out, knowing you bought a sub-compact, and, compare to the others in the same category, its damn hard to beat!!!
Absolutely

If I could afford to buy a brand new Fiesta EcoBoost, I could have afford a 2015 Fit...

And I chose the Ford

IIRC, it was a wimpy model and you didn't keep it long, right?

It was an upgraded engine in a middle trim level. Easy 50 MPG, 0-60 <8 seconds, cool BOV noises.

I got rid of it because I prefer the GE, not because I couldn't afford it.

I could respond to that but I'll be nice.

Like ROTTBOY suggested, if you'd chosen a GK, you'd still have it. But you obviously made the wrong choice with the Ford you got rid of.

No, I found the GK to be very similar to the Fiesta. The steering nearly identical, and I didn't fit very comfortably.

If I were back in the situation I was in last May, having sold my GD and with a small downpayment (I had just paid off a huge chunk of student debt)....I'd have bought...........

Nothing.

Would've waited a few more months and got a BR-Z for what I paid for the Fiesta

I was referring to new cars. I don't buy used anymore. I had an 89 Civic hatch. Loved it.

Weird. Infractions given out in a thread I've posted in and I didn't get one.
Surprising

if i was to buy a car now i would also buy a brz/frs depending on what i could get the best deal on. i LOVE my car and have no plans of getting rid of it but i would buy a used BRZ/FRS over a new fit any day of the week.
