Not sure if you got the Fit EX yet but you can get a good deal on them if you have them in your area. I got some really rock bottom quotes on the EX trim (but was looking for EX-L) so it's a good time. I am guessing it is a signal that the 2017's are coming out soon and the dealerships need to clear the inventory to make room. 2017 is not slated to be a major overhaul and the dealers don't expect Honda to do another until maybe 2018 at the earliest.

For those that seem to think Japanese assembly is going to be better than Mexico, I'm not sure where this notion has come from. I owned a Honda Accord that was made in Japan and it was nothing but a big fat lemon. It's had a number of recalls including issues with the transmission, ignition, etc. I think some of the issues with the 2015 Fit's that people have mentioned boils down to it being a 1st gen on a big overhaul so Honda was probably working out the kinks.
