Believe it or not, that is one of the reasons that I purchased my Fit too. I've already slept in it several times.

You know I took a short trip in October and I was READY. I got a Therma-Rest pad for comfort and a warm sleeping bag and mapped out how I was going to angle myself and then ... when it came time to sack out I was so tired that I found a corner in the rest area (not TOO dark) and just reclined the drivers seat. I draped a zipper hoodie over my front, then another blanket and I slept solid for nearly six hours (might have been more but a big boy diesel woke me up just before dawn). Felt great (though a bit cold) and even got an apology from the truck driver for making so much noise.

Yeah, I've used my first gen fit several times to sleep in. A few times for weekend long rock concerts, and some just for parking/camping by the ocean with a cooler full of beer and a bucket of KFC.

One thing that messes the "sleeping quarters" up is the center armrest console. It sticks right up in the middle making it so you have to sleep with your head off to one side. Not a biggie, but certainly in the way. And then there's the paper thin rear cargo cover.

Aah, you can read the license plate. Yeah, I'm in Nagano. Yes, it is a warm winter. I usually get at least one strong snow storm by january, but so far, it's been nice.

There was also the Acura badged RDX with a turbo too.

I sleep in the back seat in my sleeping bag. Sideways fetal works for me. The windows all fog up, or during -15C, ices up. No issues, I sleep well.

I noticed a manufacturing defect in the photo--they put the steering wheel on the wrong side...
