LaneWatch Camera Update

I wrote to Honda Customer Service, explaining the history of my LaneWatch problems, just so this would be on record. I got a phone call from Honda, asking me for details and recommending that I stay in contact with the dealer and bring it in as soon as it fails again. He assured me that even if it must be repaired after the warranty expires, they will do the repair for free.

That's good to hear! But does that mean it'll be free to repair for.. forever?

Since it's obviously a design/manufacturing flaw that is affecting many cars, it should be covered forever. However, for me, the important thing is that if I don't get to the dealer till after the warranty expires, they'll still fix it. the camera has to fail at a time when I am able to bring it and also at a time when the dealer is open.

I went food shopping this morning, and I had a car full of cold food. If I had malfunctioned, and I had brought it to the dealer, and they couldn't give me a loaner car, I wouldn't have been able to leave it.
