Can you disable keyless entry on 2015 FIT EX?
Can you disable keyless entry on 2015 FIT EX?
I sit in the car a lot. I turn off the engine and then lock the door.
It worries me that because I have the fob in my pocket that anyone can just unlock my door by pressing the button on the handle.
Is there a way to disable/reenable it so that I can feel more safe sitting in the car?

Most cars disable the feature on the door handle, if you turn the key to ACC.
If that's not the case on your fit, it might be possible to put a switch in to disable the door button. Would have to trace the wiring in the door though..

Mark is correct. The car knows the keyfob is inside the car so it won't allow intruders to unlock the door.
Not only does the car know the key is inside, it knows where inside the car the key is. Try starting the car while the key fob is in the back seat. It won't start.
