Our 2015 6mt lx has had a leak problem with the drivers floor getting wet occasionally. I haven't been able to pinpoint exactly what is causing it. We originally attributed it to melting snow from our feet in the winter but after hard rains in the summer we noticed there was definitely a problem. Of course by the time we realized the problem the Warranty no longer covered us and Honda wanted some stupid price to "leak test" it.

I bought a new 2012 and within a few weeks when it started to rain I would find a puddle 1” deep in the back footwell area. I researched others had the same issue and it was a complicated custom fix that not all dealers did properly. I traded it a few months later. I still love the fit and the 18 with Honda sense looks awesome. If they made a hybrid I’d buy it. It’s more comfy and roomy than the Prius.

I have a 2016 LX that was dry until this last big bunch of rain. I found my left rear carpet wet, and figured out the water was leaking in the door. I made a video showing how I found and fixed the problem. This can happen to any GK. In my case, the plastic door liner separated from the black goo that normally seals the water out. My guess is that it happens over time as the car sits in the hot sun, which softens the goo and allows the plastic to sag and wrinkle. It's literally minutes to pop off the inner door panel, check to see if you are starting to have a problem, and smooth out the plastic. I highly recommend you take the time and prevent a leak before it happens.

Water LEAKS

Aight, it's been rainy here, and the last 2 days when my wife gets home from work I've noticed water in the rear drivers floormat, i scratched my head and looked around and can't figure out where it's coming from

It's been some pretty bad storms, granted, but this is a new car and it still shouldn't be leaking like this, anyone else have this issue?

Given the location, probably the upper door gasket.

Leaks seemed to be relatively common on earlier GKs made in Mexico. That seemed to be resolved, though.

Door gaskets and sunroof drains, sometimes poorly sealed body panels were the culprits.

I checked the upper door seals, and they seem fine, so I guess that issue behind the door in the video is probably my problem, hopefully an easy fix since I'll be back there to replace the speakers anyway

thanks a lot for the video!

Mine Did that on the right front...the dealer replaced a door seal, all was good. This seems to be an issue.

Bummer, hopefully it's a quick fix through dealer. Good luck!
