2015 fit strange shudder while in second gear

Hoping someone has some insight. I have a 2015 Honda fit EX 6 speed. I have noticed in last month at low speeds after shifting into second gear I get a strange shudder/chatter that feels as if I was running over rumble strips on the side of the highway. this only happens at low speeds under light throttle. If I accelerate hard it does not happen. No check Engine light present on other symptoms at all.

Enjoy the reading.... This thread is anywhere from chatter, to shudder, to noises only... But maybe it's what you are hunting for.

EDIT: Adding this one this is the one I meant to add. Leaving the other just in case... https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/3rd-...cond-gear.html

I have a '15 LX 6 spd, possibly the same issue ….next time you drive it, check the tach for the RPM where occurs … I've never addressed the issue with Honda, but others have had a similar problem of shuddering/stuttering/hesitating at around 2200 RPM, especially noticeable on shifting into 2nd. Others have said that apparently Honda feels this is "normal" and won't address it. As minor as it is, it is annoying, I just rev high enough in 1st that I'm at 2500+ RPM when hitting 2nd, don't feel it. Dunno if we have the same issue, but, it's a start (with no useful answer, unfortunately). Dunno if it's engine software/timing issue, or what?

Thank you so much for the leads. The second post link was on the money. Exactly what I am feeling! Going to try the idle relearn procedure first and see what happens. thanks again!

If you reignite that thread, I would recommend trying to dig into the model years. The issue pretty much has to be an engine calibration issue and the factory is going to be very reluctant to admit it... If this issue is not happening on 18's, or 19's, then maybe a kind dealer would consider a new calibration flash.

Enjoy!
