Because a dead pedal won't give you better mileage. If a voltage stabilizer actually did increase fuel economy, that could mean 100s of thousands of dollars in extra revenue to the manufacturer because of EPA regulations. Why on earth would they screw around with LRR tires if better mileage was this easy?
