why? because there are faster, cheaper ways of doing things, and platforms to do them ON.

i just don't think that the fit is all about straight ahead speed. we only need a little extra oompha and we're perfect.

Greddy will be here pretty soon as well as the KW. From what I have seen with the HKS kit is sub par. T1R is still the best choice for a Turbo.

I heard a NA Fit, with basic boltons beat, a HKS Turbo Fit around the Streets of willow track. Both cars had the same driver...JDMChris told me this..

its depressing isn't it? i wonder why this is, because bolt ons= more power than f.i. seems to be something that only applies to our cars!

if that really is the case, maybe i'll just save all my money, and do I/H/E buy some wheels and do the suspension and call it a day.

haha, the guy driving was GOOD... its just that his almost stock car was setup better, suspension wise, than the car with the HKS kit.

This is totally true.. everyone is always upset when they hear or see that a F.I. fit got beat or was head to head against a basic bolt on Fit.

But in reality, if you car doesn't have 100% more power than the other, it basically boils down to driver skills.

Take this for example.. my one buddy has a supercharged EK coupe.. we went to the drag races and he was only able to get a 15.8s 1/4 mile time out of 6 passes. Then our other buddy who has been dragging cars for a few years, jumps in for 1 pass.. he pulls off a 14.9. 14.9!!! And that was his first attempt and first time ever driving that car.

So almost 1 full second faster than my buddies best run in 6 tries. Needless to say, he was happy, but embarrassed that he was such a crappy driver.

and no, the difference in weight of the 2 guys wasn't 400lbs.. more like 30 lbs. so don't even try to bring that up haha

BBO's FTW!!

Well not really I rode with Illusive & his KW kit back to back with my car, was depressing because his car was WAY faster. I have sh!t loads of bolt ons too, but I have nothing on his ride.

ok i have the HKS kit and would not go back what an amazing kit and an easy install about 7 hours no cutting no drilling no nothing easy easy easy. t1r is to much money and developed in Canada the super charger thing is made in the U.S. and come on if it made in the u.s it should not be on a jap motor i dont trust it. and how can you not trust a name like HKS. i have had it for 2 weeks now and beat on my car for that whole 2 weeks no rattles not heat problems no check engine lights no driveability just everything is great. o and i still got 33 mpg. if your on the fence stay away from Canada and from USDM shyt and get parts from the same country that the car is made in HKS FTMFW.

lol@people talking about k swap and jrsc
if you want to drop almost the whole cost of the car AGAIN then go ahead
but if you can spend that kind of money, why are you driving a fit?

t1r>hks
i'm ready for the high boost kit.
i want some reviews

i know what some people should do,
buy an evo, take off the body, and put a fit body over it!
yayyyY!

NOT

(it would be bad ass if that was anywhere near possible though haha)

I know you are biased on this kit because you have it, as I am with my supercharger, But to come on here and say the T1R is unreliable is just dumb. Out of the people on this site with the HKS and T1R I have seen more problems with the HKS kit.
