How long did it take for them to build your patch harness? Did you have them wire in the aem harness as well?

try richening it up a little bit... I was running around 12.5 on the dyno but when I richened it up to 11.9-12.0 I made more powa!

I'm right around 155/158 hp/tq according to my local dyno @ 6psi. That's right, I made MORE TORQUE THAN HP! I'll bet your car is a beast!

I just had a thought...

This means you can upgrade from base to highboost with just a reflash and removing the insert!

HEY KRAFTWERKS! WE KNOW YOUR SECRET!!!

MUAHAHAHA!

haha this is why I said what I did earlier.... The compuound holding in the insert is made to be able to remove it and easily upgrade to highboost. Reflash and some 310's

boomslang made the jumper harness for 229 plus shipping. excellent work. wires were color coded even to match the aem universal harness. they shipped it out 24 hours after i ordered over the phone.

They are awesome. They also do e-manage as well.

the part number is 30-1910 found here:

AEM - AEM Fuel / Ignition Controller (F/IC-6)

Once i got the unit upgraded the firmware to version 3.04 which is currently the latest. You can download the full software and latest instructions here:

New FIC Software V.3.04, Full Install Version

The instructions listed in version 3.04 are more complete. I installed the software on my pc and then flashed the unit to x300.hex. The slave version id z104.hex. I know what i just said probably does not make sense to anyone (it didn't to me either) but i spent several nights up until 2-3 am reading through the aempower forum starting with the 2nd link.

It seems alot of people had problems installing the software or had problems with the unit itself but the majority seemed to be wiring issues (which is why i got the boomslang harness) or firmware issues (if you run the firmware i have you should be fine). I would recommend anyone thinking about this unit to check out the aempower forums and download the software on your pc to check it out.

I am the 2nd one to successfully install this unit in the fit and can confirm zero issues with connectivity. Tuning is the only thing i am lacking knowledge in but i am making small adjustments and logging when i drive(the aem can log directly to the pc or has its own internal memory).

It is exactly the same kit except the supercharger in the a/t is smaller.

patience grasshopper I'll take one or 2 this weekend if the weather holds up.

FYI my ecu has cycled and my scangauge shows no codes and ready to pass emissions. Good news.

I have since hit my target a/f of 12.0 at WOT and it is holding steady. Took some time tweaking the fuel maps. I have to monitor my ignition timing more thoroughly. The logs show what it is removing but not what the adjusted timing is.

My scangauge shows this but it is hard to keep my eyes on it when i'm watching the road.

AEM F/IC o2 adjustments

I have just confirmed that the AEM F/IC does in fact bias the Fit's o2 sensor in closed loop!!!

I let the car warm up and entered 1.5 volts into the cel that was currently being accessed and saw the a/f ratio drop from 14.8 to 13.5. then i changed it to 1 volt and it dropped even further.

HOORAY!

Once i tweak the o2 map i will no longer have to worry about being in boost while in closed loop.

Hope that helps all you folks with e-manage. Looks like AEM has really come through.

You are truly a mad scientist bro!

I thought you didn't want to be a test case?

TAGGED to see how this goes for you. My fingers are crossed.

Any thoughts on upgrading the transmission? I really wonder how much the stock tranny can handle because I know I'm pounding the hell out of mine mercilessly and all I have is an A/T cooler.
