You will need a set of snap-ring pliers to remove the original stem. Take the rubber boot off of the new cylinder…even though the original Fit cylinder did not have that boot, I put it back on. I took all the pieces that came off of the Fit master cylinder and put them onto the Civic master cylinder…plus the boot.

the line comes undone at the cmc just switch them
