ok, Both Oscars stopped by my house yesterday to check something out on my fit (my bad lol). Anyways They said theyre about 3-4 weeks to completely being moved into the new facility. Theres going to be a small revision to the kit so it holds the SC a little higher to make sure what happened to me happens to no one else. They havent had the time to get the AT kit done yet but they did say everything should be roilling around by summer.

I would like to Thank Oscar sr.& jr for Their remarkable customer service! When would anyone from a big company ever make a house call to check out the car? BIG THUMBS UP! Just be a little more patient guys, big things are to come!

I hit a extremely huge pot hole, bottoming out the Shock which caused the axle to hit the belt and throw it off track. Reason being is that this kit was based off a mostly stock Fit so with the shortened shocks I have compared to the longer Stock ones it ran into that little snag. Personally i think it was super rare it wouldve happened anyways cause this pothole was HUGE. It was pretty similar to driving off a curb.

Sweet Lord! Not on the new wheels?!

Anyway, I am digging the kit I just wish they would take my money for a deposit. I e-mailed asking if they could as I want to be the SECOND with the kit. But doesn't look like that will happen.

As much as I am ready for this kit to release, I think it's well worth the wait. I'm completely stoked about it and can't wait to purchase one. I just wish they could give out an estimated price range for it, but I guess they'll disclose that information when they see fit.

Hmm, I guess I just missed it. $3500 seems a bit much when compared to the turbocharger setups out now putting down more power. Guess I'll just wait and see the reviews before I purchase.

the SC makes about the same power as the turbo kits. The SC is 5psi and the AJR turbo kit is 6psi. Thw ajr kit made 4whp more than mine and we had essentially the same mods. However i dont have to worry about heat issues, cause the SC doesnt produce as much heat as a Turbo, I dont hhave to worry about turbo lag, Spiking any of that turbo related stuff. Id go SC over turbo adain if I had to.

O ya forgot to mention, The JRSC was made with the STOCK MOTOR in mind. They specifically made the kit to work with the stock motor so you dont have to upgrade anything.

Yeah, I think I'll still go with the JRSC kit just because of those factors you just listed. Plus, I love the sleeper aspect of it. Silent operation and no intercooler, just screams sleeper. I was just hoping it would be cheaper than the turbo kits seeing as it doesn't need an intercooler, turbo manifold, downpipe, and the extra piping for it. Guess the new technology in the Rotrex charger is pretty expensive.

Expensive or not, I'll still be going with this kit. Thanks for the info.

Any dyno numbers for the 5 psi kit yet?

With the 10psi pulley, would we need additional mods? i.e.thicker gaskets, lower compression pistons...

also, do we need bigger injectors?

Thanks!

Lucky for you!
JDMChris where are the Oscars?? No replies from them!

BUT JRSC has been creating a "buzz" about this product since august/september of Last year!! I know that they have fell on some difficulties with thier business, and that is the reason for the delay, but you have to admit T1R is still on the board talking about thier process and when theirs is comming out.....

That and I'm a bit annoyed that JRSC never returned my phone calls and then their mailbox was full... I was asking about the Header that they were supposed to make for the K20 in a fit Swap. (Swap Header) But even Hasport said that JRSC no longer has the time to do it, so they were waiting on them and now hasport and myself are waiting on another company..... Hasport did say to me that JRSC's main priority is the Fit Supercharger now not the Fit Swap header.... So I guess that's a +1 for JRSC.

They might not be doing the header anymore because they were at the same facility before as Thorley, and thats who was helping construct the header. Now they are independent so Im not suire if it will go down. Anyways I should be seeing them this week and Ill ask about it.

Hey JDMchris, where is the air filter for the SC located on your Jackson Racing install?

Only reason I ask is because I recently had a bad experience with a very deep puddle and a CAI - don't want to go thru that again.

You wont have any problems with where the filter is. Unless you drive into a lake lol. The filter is pretty much in the location where a short ram would be.

Also Oscar Sr and Jr just left my house. They have moved into the new facility and told me the kit should be out pretty damn quick. So be on the lookout guys! My fit is up and going again and running awesome!

i was just wondering about this kit... how does it affect the life of the car? I read that it is meant for a stock install etc. (being a complete noob) I just want a little more oomph in my car, dont mind spending a few grand but will this be cutting life out of the backend of the car?

Or is it pretty much a free pass. meaning it boosts the power with little to no effect on ultimate engine wear.

please dont flame me, ive used the tags and read up on the various threads and my question hasnt really been answered.

thanks

its really tough to say since this is a brand new kit. I would say the way the Jacksons are, the kit is as reliable and will last as long as a stock car.

The headunit for the Rotrex charger is $2500 alone, not including shipping. That, I'm almost positive is where a bulk of the price comes from. Not much the Oscar's can do about that.

I've been considering one for my Legend, because of the size and efficiency. But even my supplier can't get it for much lower than that price.
