CollegeHillsHonda.com Has the armrest back-ordered, but it says it is an Austrailian import?! That's means it is British trash....

No, I was alluding to the fact that Australia began, as a country, by being a dumping ground for Bristish delericts and criminals. Sort of a British Siberia...

In other words - free thinking, self expressing outsiders - the kind of people I like

Did Australia Start as a penal colony? I think that some South American countries did too. Some day I would like to visit Australia.

Depends what you mean by "start". Australia was first colonised by man many thousands of years ago. It was "discovered" much later by Europeans. It became part of the Britsh Empire and yes they used it as a penal colony for a while.

Tha's what I wanted to know. I thought that was in it's past somewhere. It could be said that the first colonies here were British "dumping grounds". Turns out it WAS more free thinkers like the guy above posted.

But, it don't matter where the armrest came from. I like it. I like the cupholders it has. I understand why some things change on NA models but what could be a logical reason to put in a different console? It can't cost much more to make.

Looks are a personal opinion. I'd go with the Zeta armrest since they are a FITFREAK vendor.

stick with the company that has the better customer service and feedback. In this case Zeta is in the lead!

Sometimes I'm a serious leaner while I'm driving, any experience with build quality on the zeta adjustable? Don't want the thing to break after a couple months leaning on it or resting my arm on it. I'm 175 - 190 depending on the season .

I have the non folding arm rest from zeta, so that is the only review i can give you, it is a great unit, does not make it hard to get to the hand brake and is very sturdy, if installed correctly, i am 6' and 95 kg's, and a leaner also, and it is a great product.

Chris.

I dunno, Zeta Products's folding armrest doesn't come with a cup holder. Quality Interior's does. Just something to think about.

Personaly, I would buy a genuine Honda one from Japan/Europe.

That one is ok to, def. doesnt look stock. Its cheaper than this one... and looks almost exactly like it. I would hate to think of someone using the cupholder in the back, some idiot might, there goes the interior!!

The japanese one that replaces the entire console down through the shifter is , of course, perfect but super expensive. Guess I could put off buying wheels.

That armrest is an option in the other markets. It seems to me Honda is limiting the number of dealer accessories since this body style won't be offered in Canada/US for very long.

Time to stick it to the man, and buy it from his Asian brother!

It has been posted elsewhere on fitfreak that the armrests are omitted beacuse of the 'refresh' mode. Anybody out there use this (for something other than dirty mode)?
