Armrest, questions, answers, comparisions photos
I just purchased a Black/Black armrest console and lid for $318.54 "To Your Door" from Japanparts.com. There are many colors to choose from and you have to order the console lid seperate, which means you can make whatever color combo you want from the available choices. the ordering system is a little funky, but it seemed relatively painless. They are saying that it will take 10-15 days for the package to arrive. I will let you know how it works out.

I've been looking at what they offer for the Fit and have been tempted to get many things (JDM armrest console, ceiling console) but I've been afraid of getting dinged by customs fees. Let us know how it goes. Did you choose to ship by air?
No. The Nearest Greyhound station, nearest airport, and nearest seaport are "alternative options" to shipping the package. The "To Your Door" option was the cheapest by at least $70, would take half the time to deliver and you don't have to worry about customs fees.
Re: Japanparts.com
I ordered the luggage mat and Mugen wind visors. Total including shipping was $400 CAD. At my door in less than 2 weeks.
Customs was $120, but they've made a mistake which I'm dealing with now.
Japanparts are great to deal with. But if you use PayPal, don't forget pay in Japanese yen. If you don't they will cancel the transaction. This was my fault as I forgot and tried to pay in CAD. It was well documented on the website
I will be buying from them again.

You can pay in JPY, USD, or EUR when using PayPal. I initially started pay in Yen, but it was going to cost me $326 and change so I switched over to USD and paid the $318.54.
Customs overcharged me.
I tried paying Japanparts in CAD. They declined the payment, saying yen/USD only. So rather than mess with 2 exchange rates, I chose yen. (Sorry, forgot to say in my last post that you could also pay in USD.)

I bought a set of wheels from France a couple of years ago, total cost with shipping was $1800usd. The duty was around $40 usd, so for anyone in the US I wouldn't expect to pay much for something valued at two or three hundred bucks.
Quality is OK and appearance is very good. It holds at least 6 CD's in jewel boxes. Height is OK, mounting is easy with a few screws. Zeta's price was $109.00 on-sale, and I bought from them instead of the Asian Ebay sellers just for the ability to easily return it for credit if I didn't like it. The only objection that I have is that it is not adjustable. It would be nice to be able to move the arm rest forward another 3-4", but you can't.
Other arm rests have tops that can be moved forward, but they don't hold much inside them, and are generally much more expensive. The Chinese-made arm rests are worth their price whether bought from
Asian sellers or bought from Zeta Products.
The armrest at the top looks nice except for the bright silver hinge holding the top on. It looks like it came right from a hardware store and that the guy makes them himself. It gives me a vibe of "cheap crap" and so I went with the Asia's armrest on ebay. I expect it to show up soon.
I'll report back when I get it and how I like it.

I'll sell you my Zeta Products folding armrest for $90 plus shipping. Like new condition.

I just received an email from JapanParts.com with a tracking sit and tracking number. My console arrived and departed the inward office of exchange at JFK airport today. I really hope that it will arrive by Monday. So far so good!

Questions about the armrest on ebay...
1) Its not leather is it?
2) How does it stay in place? no screws right? If you can please take pics of the bottom of it Id really appreciate it
3) Handbrake looks really close to it, does it interfere with the handbrake at all?
