Thumbs up

I got the package today!

Now I just need my fit. Overall my experience with JapanParts.com was smooth and painless. I definitely give them two thumbs up!

nsx280ps, my apologies for the late reply.

It's made of vinyl and there are no screws, it just squeezes in between the two front seats very tightly. I'm not able to move it at all without exerting a bit of force. The 3rd picture shows the bottom of the armrest unless you mean underneath? Here's a another pic if it helps. Don't mind the background

It doesn't interfere with the handbrakes. Infact, my handbrakes are up on picture 1. Hard to see because of the picture angle, but I will say this about the armrest.. If you are looking for something to rest your arm on comfortably, you may want to consider something like the one Rcantu purchase. Noticed how his is right above the handbrakes to rest your arm. With mine, you rest your elbows on it since it does not extend out which is more than enough for me, but you may want to consider that.

The reason I got it was for the extra storage. Ever tried leaning over to open up the glovebox while you are at a red light? then try to find something, next thing you know, it's green and the person in the back is honking at you lol. But I do keep a lot of stuff in my car and the glovebox is always full of stuff so this helps considerably.

isis151miu, the cup holder at the back is adjustable as well. Holds a big slurpee

Thanks for the pics... I like how it does not need to be screwed in, but after u mentioned it it does look a little short... I dont like the other ones because it seems you have to screw them in, and if I decide to remove them one day im left with screw holes

I don't know why it bugs me so much, but that silver hinge makes the whole thing look so cheap. Otherwise, that looks like a great armrest.

Can you show some photos of it flipped up and how it moves up and down with the brake? Thanks

Armrest Issue - HELP

I need a little help.

I purchased one of the non-folding armrests Zeta Products from some goon on ebay. I should have went with Zeta, but I saved some money and gained a lot of hassle. Lesson learned.

Basically, I didn't get the installation screws. Repeated e-mails to the seller result in nothing other than "they are in the compartment". I also e-mailed Zeta's support asking them if they would tell me what kind of screws I need to install this thing. No response from them. Of course, I don't blame them. I didn't buy it from them - but I figured it was worth a shot.

Can anyone here tell what kind/size/etc. of screw I need to install this armrest.

From the pictures on Zeta's site, they look like metal screws about 1.25 inches long. I'd rather not guess at it and screw up the car.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

A couple people didn't screw theirs in. Have you tried just putting it in and seeing how it sits for a little while? it might be snug enough.

Yes I have. It fits in there, but it is not snug. It wobbles way to much to be an armrest. It does work well for holding change and a few CDs though at this point.
I need to install it properly.
