Rear tweeters?

I am about to overhaul my car with a semi oem look radio sterio system upgrade. Waiting for deck instal face plate to come out, then I am going to do a radio swap for a jvc dvd deck. puting infinity componenets with 100rms on um, and ive been looking for speeks for the back that are coaxial that have 100 or 110 rms...cant find anything...so...Im thinking of putting another set of infinitie 6 1/2 components in the back. Where should I put in the tweets to look best, and sound best? Or does anyone know of a great rear speaker alternative that sports 100 to 110 rms and would fit in the stock speaker position?

These are the speaks i bought for the front.

Also, two audiobahn 10" powerd base tubes on both sides in the back. Any thoughts?

You actually lose points for rear speakers in Sound Quality competition. SQ comp is just starting out in the US where loudness (SPL) has been the only thing that has been important for far too many years.

You want your sound stage to be front and centre like a live performance. You wouldn't go to a live concert and turn your back to the stage so why would you do the equivalent in a car? Seen any home cinemas with surround speakers and no front speakers?

You put the money you would spend on 2 sets of speakers to buy one better set of component speakers.

Deep bass being non directional doesn't matter if its in the boot because it appears to actually come from wherever the highs are coming from anyway. As with the front stage one better sub sounds better than 2 cheaper subs unless its just for looks or head caving volume. If after SPL then bass tubes will never cut it anyway you'd want something more like this.

I know this is an old thread, but I felt like I should chime in and say something. You've probably already gotten rear speakers already, so this is probably pointless.

If you want Infinity's, then you might want to see if they have a coax design, or a component set that you can coaxially mount the tweeter. I'm sure you can find a set of 6.5" coaxial speakers that are able to handle 100-110 rms.
