Not much to report...my Exedy clutch is slipping again since being installed in February. This is the second disk that is slipping and they are both Exedy units. I think I purchased some fakes from Amazon or something because this can't be normal. Will be purchasing an OEM clutch disc and throwing that in soon.

I have heard a lot of not nice things about lower cost Exedy clutches. That stinks dude.

Honestly, I think they're legit clutches. Who the heck would make a counterfeit for a Fit...? This is the second disc (same exact HCK1006 kit) and it's slipping after 8 months. I've been dealing with a weird issue where the clutch pedal stiffens up as the vehicle is running (I don't even have to drive it for it to occur). Say I turn on the car from a cold start and simply let it idle for like 10-15 minutes, the clutch pedal effort required to depress the pedal increases significantly. I'm not going to lie...I like the increase effort as it makes the pedal feel better, in my opinion, but something is very clearly wrong, and I don't know any more other than replacing the clutch disc, again.
I've literally replaced everything else and gone so overkill on refreshing the transmission components. Thankfully, OEM disc isn't horribly expensive at ~$160, so I hope that's going to be the end of the clutch issues with this car. It's just so frustrating spending money on things I shouldn't be spending money on when there are other things the car could use.
Forgot to share these here. I've partially finished installing AeroCatch hood latches on the Fit. The latches are installed—just need to install the hood pins/rods. The rubber bump stops for the hood alignment are kind of a super convenient place to install these. Just need to put them on and adjust fitment for smooth open/close operation. Other plans include gutting the hood skeleton once I install hood vents and installing my Hardrace rear beam bushings (this will likely be in a few months).

Might want to check your clutch master cylinder.. it might be failing causing the clutch pedal to stiffen while not fully disengaging the clutch causing your premature clutch. Also over time you have to adjust the clutch pedal to the master cylinder as well. As the distance in movement may change as the clutch breaks in.

I appreciate the suggestion, but everything on this car has already been replaced with OEM components in the last three years. CMC/CSC were replaced earlier this year around February. This issue happened with the first Exedy clutch disc and original CSC/CMC as well, so I don't think it's related to the CMC/CSC since they're new now and issue is still occurring. The constant here are the Exedy OEM-spec clutch discs.
Very clean car. Love the license plate lol. I buy from exedy, but haven’t had issues with them. I am sorry for your clutch issues
Thanks! I'm glad you caught the reference. It was originally meant for my S2000, but I sold it before the plate arrived. I haven't had issues with Exedy either, but this is my first time using their OEM-spec stuff. I like their performance clutches.

"The phrase Touge Maou translates as “winding road demon king,” or “king of the underworld,” which is fitting for the fiery exterior motif, as well as the brutal way this AP1 covers ground at this Kyoto hillclimb event, covered by Best Motoring."
It's a moniker used for fastest car of the touge, more or less. I ordered it back when I had my S2000, but I sold the car before the plate arrived.
New clutch disc is in. We found oil leaking into the clutch area, presumably from the input shaft seal. Might've been a dud or old stock for the seal we used back in February. Hoping the next time I drop/remove this transmission is to replace it with one that was separated from a K20Z3 and add 0.9 liters of engine displacement in the process.
So far, so good with the new clutch. Picked up some new front tires yesterday and got the car aligned at Chewerks earlier today. Don't really have any other updates and probably won't for a while. Car is going to stay in this phase/stage until I get new coilovers and the K24 swap won't be happening until I have a "normal" daily driver.
