*Built Fit Motor, build thread*
hey guys sorry for the long absence. i was away working at a summer camp for the last 3 months, im back now, as for the fit, well its running, and running well, it burns a lil oil from the turbo and a lil oil past the rings. but soon (if i ever get a job) ill throw some new rings in her and a disco potato turbo, car currnetly boosts at 22 lbs but falls quiclky to 17-18 or so, that lil turbo has had enough, went to the track on the new motor and on street tires pulled out a 13.8 @ 104 or 5. everybody cross yo fingers and maybe ill get a job so this lil fit project can get back on track and back on the the track!!!!!!!!
funny u should ask, im working on a lil video right now featuring, a lil street racing, 95mph highway on ramps. indoor ware house drifting (lol) and some digs,flybys and all around fit beatings!!! mid next week should be done
lol the way i drive is amazing iv taken 2 defensive driving courses. involving getaway driving and and stunt, done the skip barber high performance porsche school and mazdaspeed race school at road altanta and sebring international race way. and just this sumer went to nevada to do the ariel atom challenge(btw the most impressive car in the world). lol so my fit should feel luckey that i drive her lol

lol just so i can make more HP i need a 1000 dollar turbo, and get a custom made 1000 dollar exhaust mani. and when i do this ill get the head ported as well, by one of the best cylinder head guys in the country he is the only one i know of who can flow 350CFM out of an evo head, and that will caust me about 4 or 500, lol i really think i could of bought a house by now.
next with all these go fast goodies ill need a new cluch (500) and ill deffinitly need a diff (500) and then ill need axles custome made of corse, (600) and i really want a AEM FI/c and boomsling harness and theres 6 0r 700 dollars, granted some of this stuff ill get sponsored for but F**** it gets so expencive

obviously thats true, but joshs fit will hang around the track better than any k20'd fit.
plus building the l15 is an endeavour few will undertake, and i applaud him for going the road less traveled. do the most with what you got ftw.
people have made great power with the d series, l series should be no different.
HKS designed the kit to run at 6 lbs and as such the mani was not ready for the heat and stress from 25 lbs and tripple the HP
