CATCAMS racing parts [camshafts-valve springs-retainers-connecting rods]
Edit: they have 6 different cams. 3 of them do not require upgrading the oem springs/retainers (according to them).

cool then their will be 2 companies that sell them. Hopefully some other companies as well will come out with more parts since more people will probably be needing them soon. Boost is too addicting.
on a side note does the F-Con allow you to advance timing as well as retard it? I wish there was a piggyback that did it all. I believe e-manage does i think but does not bias the o2 sensor to prevent running lean in closed loop. The AEM F/IC does bias the o2 sensor but only allows timing retard.
I have a spare engine/tranny which i was planning on building up but if i invest all that money and have no piggyback to run more agressive timing then i will not be running to the full potential of the built engine right?

what would you recommend. not a standalone because then i would lose all functionality of the oem gauges and stuff.
Edit: didnt see the link you put in but that looks like a standalone. so basically if i run a standalone then what about all of the oem gauges/ac/heater/etc...

Also jet can reprogram your stock ecu for your setup and amount of boost and it will be close and you can use something like apexi afc to fine tune it
yeah.just the cam.yeah my boss was saying that also as he has used there cams before in his previous vw's.and honda single cams have always been between $300-$450 price range.
