k series makes more sense....and it looks like it belongs in there...put a k20z3 with bolt on's and you have 200whp+ with stock reliability and great fuel mileage

either way is cool. but saying you got a fully built L15 sounds pretty badass.

its nice to have a K20a2/a3/z1, but the money you going to spend on the swap might as well buy the SI...

I agree. I've been debating this since I bought my Fit. The only way i'd think it'd be worth it is if someone already had a shit ton of miles on their fit and came into a good price on a k20 engine.

I don't think you'll get the swap project done for less than $6k

so (average)

Honda fit Base $15K
Honda fit Sport $16K

Add that $6k project and you're in the si realm....

I don't doubt the awesomeness, but I'd like to drive my fit before I change the whole idea of the car.

I like this project anyways....actually taking the L engine somewhere....even if some people still think it's "not fast enough"

and plus the car is still brand new here, give it more time it will be just as quick if not quicker then the D series...

i say either way i rather have a K20z3 motor in my Fit than buying a Si why? cuss everything about the FIT is way better than the Si =P plus when people see a Si they know theres a k20 in there already but if you have a Fit spanking Si and RSX theyll poop in their pants =P but overall havin a fully built L15 motor is a dream too =D especially when i know hes gonna be BOOSTING... fully built L15 and its BOOSTED you can go wrong with taht =P

does anyone know how much the stock engine can handle boost and pressure -wise before you should start building internals?
