THIS IS AWESOME!!!! I cant wait for it to be broken in so josh can drive/tune it like he stole it again. shit is going to be nuts.
so this is just cp pistons and pauter rods as far as parts go right?

Nice thread. Intresting to see someone taking the engine apart to make some upgrades. And nice upgrades it seems.

when i got there it was just the assembled motor he finished early today, we started with the wiring harness and him showing me a pic and drawing how he had to notch the cylinder walls so the rods would clear

the mounted turbo(removed in a min)

omg spoon

the owner

and the car

wtf mustang owner building hondas? no way

lifted up, ready for the tranny install

tranny mounted

L15(now a 1.6L)

cusco oil res

me getting things ready to drop it in

trying to line up the driver side front mount

almost done

works bitches

motor finally in

final checks before the start up and finishing the wiring and vacuum lines. (also remounting the turbo and exhaust, fluids, etc)

thats all for now, ill update it with the startup video tomorrow. its been almost 12hrs since we started. ran into a few issues making it take a while. but its all worth it, hes aiming for 300whp on the stock head, well know soon if it does it.

I bet the neighbors love you, no hood for sound deadening, exhaust, turbo, at 4am. Pretty nice that it started up first try. Took longer than that to start the 57 chevy today, and it hasn't been taken apart and rebuilt in a while.
And you showed remarkable restraint in your first drive of the resurrected Fit Josh. Of course the fact that exhaust probably smells like burning hundred dollar bills right now might have helped there LOL Good stuff man, congrats.
like shit lol, the lower compression and bigger displacement is drawing in to much air for the tune to keep up with so the second i hit 1 lbs of boost it goes SUPER lean. and now i found out the shop that is tuning it, well there dyno broke and there getting a new one april 13 or 14 so i got to wait longer now to see that car make any power. but the engine is GREAT idles perfect, no knocking or odd noises, and most importantly no leaks, so i must have done something right!!! o ad it sounds really cool a lot diffrent then before, a lot deeper and more beafey
