Make sure that you have them correct top/bottom. You can also get more travel from the suspension by pushing down on the spring perch. Make sure that one side isn't being help up because it will limit the travel of the other side.
Look at these pics at the bottom. That's how the bolts should look like.

just installed mine today.
and the passenger side's spring makes some weird sound when there is little bump.
and the spring sit does not fit because there are 3 bolts for sway bar already. and the level of the spring sit is uneven.

panducky also has bolts they sell, that are a different style, with a smaller head on tehm.
do you mean to cut a little bit of the bolts?
Got mine yesterday and installed it last night. Test drove the Fit and handling def improved. My springs right now are still settling. So after it settles, handling should be tighter. I'll post my installation recommendation later that will help save time and frustration.
usually it is the other way around after it settled. it should feel more
consistent and more dynamic. it usually starts off tight (as in brittle)
and kinda softens up (as in more natural movement).

In other words, it is possible that Honda could deny warranty claims on suspension components if they can prove that the Progress bar caused the factory parts to fail. They can not, for instance, deny repairing your air conditioner, power windows, transmission, etc because of the added suspension part.
Furthermore, the Progress Rear Anti-Sway bar absolutely cannot cause the failure of any part of the Honda Fit rear axle/suspension. Buy it, install it-- that will be the best decision that you ever made since buying your Fit.
The handling improvement was expected. What surprised me the most was the improved straight line stability. It's much more stable just rolling down the highway now.
