question to JDP and anyone who might know...

I'm looking at the VIS CF trunk hatch and VIS CF roof skin. My question is... does the JDP CH hood have the same CF finish/look as the VIS???

 

The weave pattern will most likely not match....I use a 1x1 weave pattern....and vis and seibon usually use the common 2x2 weave pattern.

Have we actually confirmed that VIS makes a CF hatch for the Fit? It is not listed on their website...and I don't trust ebay sellers claims of compatibility.

Has anyone actually called VIS to confirm this will fit the GE???? This is something I would DEFINITELY be interested in (are you listening JDP??...)

I'm gonna call VIS on Monday...$475 is a pretty d@mn good deal. The only problem I can see with the lightweight hatch is the stock spring dampeners may be too stiff for the hatch to close properly...i.e. without torquing/cracking the CF hatch.

I rarely open my hatch anyways so maybe I'll be the first guinea pig.
