Why such low end tires?

 

To be honest I was on a budget and this car is my DD, so i picked out the tires with some grip and good tread life. Spent the summer/fall on them and they were great. Very smooth with little road noise and nice grip.. So far I'm pleased ;-)

 

how about having $10k+ into a car that doesn't run.
