No joke. Things will fall into place if they are meant to be. If not, you can get an 09 before long. You seem to think it's not worth going that far, and you're overlooking some that are closer...

Ideally I wanted a VBP, but I hadn't seen any Sport AT's.... so I checked out the BBP in person and loved it. Go check some out in person, you might find out some you like better.

But if you've got to have the car right away, go for the Matrix or drive to MO and get the Fit. It's your money....

Gosh I keep beating a dead horse here, but I am one of the people who do not like the new '09 styling! I do not like green eggs and ham, I do not want them, Sam-I-am!

I have called at least six dealers all over the south this afternoon. Not one had either a BBP (my first choice) or a VBP (2nd choice) Sport Auto. Maybe if I got the phone book and called every car dealer, new or used, I could find a new Sport in BBP or VBP. Maybe. I don't have much more time to spend on this - I've been thinking about what car I want for 2 mos. now and looking for a Fit for over one month, as the supply dwindled. It took me 2 weeks just to find an AT to test-drive! I liked the MT but after thinking about it, realized an AT would be better for Houston traffic. By the time I thought through all the possibilities, most of the supply was already gone.

Hubby doesn't want me to go up to St. Louis and drive back alone, and he's not going to come with me - can't leave our teenage boys alone.

So it's either truck the darn thing from the dealer lot, or forget it. Frack this!
