I am making a conscious effort to find A GE8 on the road and I am not seeing them

 

Hehe, I just seen a BBP GE8 about 40 mins ago. You guys might need to go Fit hunting. Once you spot one, then the rest will just pop out of nowhere.

 

Like those crazy 3-D art things where you have to stare beyond the picture? I'll get in a rear ender if I look all over for Fits while driving.

Nah, nothing that far in depth. Just go to a place were you know there are GE8s, look at it up close for a bit, then leave. Sooner or later that same day you may catch one out the corner of your eye.

 

Same here.. I see ALOT of '08s still, but hardly EVER see any '09s... Saw two '08s today though (both while out to lunch with Moms), one in Blaze Orange and one in Silver...

 

I saw a NHBP GD3 this morning on George Bush near the 75 exit! A girl driving and it had a "Fitfreak.net license plate holder.

Anyone?

 

Could be Jeff but I dont remember him have that license. Someone else?

[Rant] I saw a BOM GD3 yesterday morning up way too close. Kenton or Boone county KY plates just North of downtown Cincinnati weaving in and out of in traffic on I-71. Cut me off and I had to almost put passengers into the aisle to avoid hitting them.

Someone should tell that idiot that a 45 foot long bus just can't stop as quick as a Fit. [/rant]

That said, I saw a BOM, VBP (2), and SSM GD3's and one red (is it still MR?) GE8 yesterday on the way to Detroit. The more I see them, the more I think 'Mazda5' when i see the GE8's.

 

Parked next to a BOM at Sonic today. I think it was a 5 speed manual because I couldn't see the paddles on the steering wheel.

 

Saw one MR GD3 sport, girl driving fast past me on freeway, talking on cell phone.

Saw a GE8, Rev Orange Sport. Guy in sunglasses, going the opposite way on other side of freeway. I had sunglasses on too. We just stared at each other. It was kind of weird.

 

I saw a Taffeta White GE8 the other day. I was really excited so I stared over at him while waiting at the stop light hoping he'd look over and I could wave... Nope - the guy just stared straight ahead. I couldn't believe he didn't notice another stunning brand new '09 Fit right next to him

 

I saw a base TW GE base, and an SSM Sport yesterday. First time I've seen ANY '09's on the street (except for mine, of course). Oh, and an orange '08 as well..

Saw a MR '09 in a parking lot today...First MR '09 I've ever seen.

 

You shoulda beeped the feeble beep so he could hear how HIS sounds... ha ha...What color is yours, I forget?

 

I saw a mom picking up her kid at school today in a VBP Base. We exchanged smiles. There's an ORM Sport that I pass almost every day not far from my house.

 

The number of fits in the Northern Virginia area is increasing. I can remember wa-a-ay back in 2007 when I bought my BOM, I would see one or two Fits a week. Now they're everywhere ... I easily see at least five every day. (It really pisses me off when I see another BOM like mine 'cause I like to think I'm the only one who has that color!)

If you live in Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax County or Falls Church and happen to see me drivin' around (I'm the one with the FIT USA plates), honk your horn, wave, or throw money in my direction!

 

My brother-in-law told me that he'd seen a Fit outfitted as a TAXI! He said that he was pretty certain that it was a Fit. Well, yesterday I saw for myself a VBP Sport TAXI!!! Other than that shocker, I also saw 1 BOM, 1 SSM, 1 MR (all Sports), 1 Silver base, and two Sport models in a Honda used car lot.

Finally, saw an 09 Sport SSM in Plano. Only the second 09 I have seen on the road.
