How many Fits did YOU see today??
Let's see here...
On Sunday I seen a good bit of Fits, starting with spotting a SSM GE8 base and a BOM GD3 sport on 288. Entering Lake Jackson I seen a MR GE8 base at Red Lobster and a BSP GE8 sport in the mall parking lot. When I came out there was another BOM GD3 sport parked in the same row as me and the GE8.
Monday not a Fit was spotted. Tuesday, I seen a TWB GD3 base on the way home. I waved, but they didn't wave back.

Aw, come on! I'd have to wash my car every couple days to keep it real pretty.
I'm near the coast. And I'm in parking garage that is covered, but also open air. When there is a bit of a drizzle (happens frequently at the coast, along with fog), all that build-up fine crud runs. And my car is white.
I get the same collection of misty fog and fine dust on my apartment windows too. But the drizzle isn't hitting my windows and collecting. My windows in the apartment just get a little more opaque as time goes on. LOL!
We cannot wash our cars here. By hand. There is no water outlet. And they don't allow washing or working on cars in the parking garage. So even if I could take down a bucket of water, there's nothing to do with it.
As I will only go to one car wash, that is a "touchless" type, I have to drive several miles. And I'm not putting on the bulk of my auto miles to get the car washed, to have it sit in the parking garage the rest of the time and get dirty, even if I'm not driving it.
I got my car in December and have about 625 miles on it so far. I'm only on my second tank of gas (that I bought, it came with a full tank), and the tank is full.
It seems kind of stupid to spend more on car washes than I do on gas, and to put more miles on the car to get the car washed than I do for my regular driving.
So, next time you see a dirty car, think "There's a thrifty, money-conscious person!"

My car is parked outside next to bushes and trees, so all sorts of pollen and sap falls on it. To make matters worse, I live on a main street and they've been doing construction this entire month. Orange colored dirt is flying all over my car right now!
In between washes I always use a microfiber towel and detailer to wipe down my car to keep it clean. A California Auto Duster helps with light dust on the paint also.

Yesterday I seen an SSM GE8 sport at around 5 AM and then another GE8 Sport (OR) around 7:45-8 AM. After that while playing "Fit Hit" with some friends near the Blinn College area, I noticed a totaled SSM GD3 Base (why the good ones!?!?! /jk) sitting behind a fenced in area, then two more SSM GD3s but Sports and the last one of the day was a VBP GD3 Sport.
On my way to a fit meet yesterday, I saw 3 fits on the way to the meeting spot, 1 fit in the parking lot (not at the meet location), then 4 on the way home. At the meet there were 4 fits total, none of which were the ones I saw while going to and from the meet.

Saw my first-ever WRAPPED Fit today!
it was bright orange (not BOM) and had a logo on the side that said,
Omnipotech
Never heard of the company but I waved at the driver!

Saw 3 Fits yesterday in Brenham TX - a town of about 10,000. All GD 3s, 2 SSMs and one MR.

I saw yesterday: 1 each BOM, TWB, and VBP, and 2 each SSM and VBP GD3 Sports. I also saw one MR GE8. I don't think the guy driving the TWB 'got it' when I tooted my horn and waved at the stop light (Broadway and 7th in Louisville).
Here in Vegas I've only seen a handful both before and since buying mine, and none were the vivid blue pearl of mine. On my way to work a couple mornings ago, I did see one that had a full-body wrap advertising some business, but I was too busy trying to make sure it was a Fit that I didn't even notice what business it was.
Shortly after posting that I rarely see them here in Vegas, I parked next to a silver '09 Fit at Target, then drove past a red one on my way home. It's a funny feeling to get excited to see other Fits, like we're so happy for those owners or something.
