I swear I've been seeing the same Orange fit around town for weeks! I haven't really seen any other colors around, until today!

I saw about 4 Fits today! I first noticed someone with the same color as mine (Tidewater blue) at the theater. And in the same shopping center I saw 2 black fits and a silver. I've never seen so many all in the same place!

I saw a VBP GD3 driving around town the other day. I saw a TWB GD3 yesterday at the mall. And today as I walked out of my apartment to go to work, I see a SSM GD3 parked right next to my TWB GD3! Out of all the availiable spots in the parking lot, this person parked next to my Fit. I guess I have a new neighbor. I see a lot of GE8s as well but I think the GD3s are a rare sight to see.

 

I actually saw a red 09 spt today in Rochester, MI. I never see any others around here.

 

Today, I rode the Harley-Davidson on a big loop around the eastern Finger Lakes. Between Ithaca and Skaneateles, NY I spotted 7 Fits. Oddly, only one was a GE. GEs are still pretty scarce around here.

Final tally for the day:

2-SSM GDs
1-Black GD
1-BBP GD
2-BOM GDs (both in Skaneateles-the first I've ever seen in this color)
and 1-SSM GE Sport.

Interestingly, all were seen within a 50 mile stretch. I saw no more in the rest of the 250 mile ride.

 

Yesterday I seen a MR GD3 sport with Mugen visors going across an intersection.

 

Just seen a TWB GE8 sport on Horsepower TV about a minute ago.

 

Today, I saw 2 GE8s and 1 GD3.

 

I seen a bunch of Fits today. For my lunch break I seen 3 or 4 SSM GD3s come out of nowhere, 1 was a base. In Lake Jackson there about 4 TW; 2 were GE8 sports the other 2 were GD3s. There was a guy from Alaska (assuming due to the plates) in TWB GE8 sport that pointed my GD3 out to a passenger with him. The day before this, I seen only a VBP GD3 sport and an '08 M/T BOM GD3 parked in the high school parking lot.

 

Saw a nice stock BOM Fit Sport parked on a lot of the local hotel. Saw the VBP Sport Fit on the road yesterday. We always honk at one another and I keep hoping he'll see my Fit Freak sticker and join the fun.

We were up in Austin TX last weekend and there were a TON of GD3s up there!!! I saw at least 2 in BOM, which isn't surprising because that's the color of the University of Texas, or at least close. But they were everywhere we looked! It wasn't even worth pointing them out after a while, it was almost ordinary. I didn't see any BBPs, however.

I got pointed at by 2 people in a PT Cruiser. They were talking about my plate - so I smiled real big and waved at them.

Oh, and I FINALLY got recognition from another Fit driver - it was a BSP '09 that was driving in the other lane - I got in front of where she was waiting for the light to change and tapped my "FIT" 3rd brake light a few times. Next time she pulled alongside me she smiled and gave me a thumbs-up!

I have thought about printing up some Fitfreak.net forum invitations on cards so I can put them on Fits I see in parking lots.

 

It's funny, you are in one of those "Fit pockets" that seem to be kind of randomly scattered around this area. On my side of town, there are hardly any Fits to be found.

Although mine does have a twin whose owner works at Spec's....

Oh yes, the Lake Jackson area is just full of Fits. You can't drive around for 5 minutes without seeing at least two or three of them.

 

I saw 5 first gen Fits on the way home from work today. Four were Vivid Blue and there was one red one with an older gentleman driving, with a KY license plate that read "IMA FIT". Awesome!

I saw a Tidewater Blue '09 last night, and I thought "That's a pretty color!"

 

I seen several Fits on a road trip this weekend. Yesterday, I seen mostly GD3s; 2 MR sports, 1 VBP sport and base, and 1 NHBP along with 2 MR GE8s, a one base and the other a sport. Today on the return trip I seen a SSM GD3 base, a BOM GD3, along with two GE8 sports; the first one was MR and the other was CBP.

Today I seen a '07 TW GD3 which is already rare to find and on top of that it was a base with beige interior, don't think it was a manual trans though. About 30-40 minutes after that I passed a BBP GE8 sport and got a wave out of the guy driving.

 

A few mornings ago, on my way to work here in Las Vegas (well, Henderson, actually), I saw a silver '07 or '08 model pass me, and it had a license plate that said FITLOVR or something like that, which I thought was really cool. I noticed it had red emblems and a different muffler, so I knew they were into modding it. Then, when I paid more attention, I noticed they had the FitFreak.net license plate frame!

 

My wife saw a Black and a copper colored one on the loop in Palestine. Mine is he only Fit in the county that isn't bone stock.

 

Today at class, in the one small parking lot that I parked in, there were 5 other Fits. Mine was the only GD3, the other five were all GE8s, including one of the Mugen Fits. Its pretty cool that out of maybe 40 cars, 6 are Fits!
