I guess so. LOL To be honest I haven't seen any for a week or two till today. And thinking that just gave me an idea...

For those who have not seen a Fit during a week; declare every Friday "Weekly Fit Hunting Day". A day were you do not go home till you find a minimum of 1 pair of Fits the same color, trim level, and body style.

 

Around here, that could stretch Friday into a whole week or even longer.

I did spot a SSM Sport with a CF hood today. Waved at them and they tooted the horn. Also saw a TW base on the way home.

 

I had a job interview yesterday and was told to park on the employee lot. Could not believe that someone at the clinic owned a MR 2007 or 2008 Fit Sport. It was totally stock with no extras so I thought well they won't mistake my Fit for theirs. Then today went shopping with my cousin and we went by a dealership in Huntington and they had 2 Fits on the lot.

Two GD3 sports today. One BOM the other NHBP.

 

I had to pick up my son at school, so I saw the BOM Sport and SSM Sport that students drive.

 

Only seen a MR GD3 sport yesterday when leaving school and so far today, I haven't seen one.

 

Yesterday I saw a TW '09 right in my neighborhood, and a CBP '09 in the underground parking at the Galleria. The black '09 had a Rice Alumni sticker in the back window.

I am going to print up some FitFreak.net cards and put them on Fits I see in parking lots. That way, we can get some new members for our meets, maybe.

Saw two BOM, one MR, and a TWB Sports and a MR base a couple of days ago. The MR base was right behind one of the BOM's.

Just the other day, I saw a BOM and a MR Sport (I think they might be the same ones) and a VBP Sport that had the 'sport' grill. The young lady driving the VBP must have been really involved in her conversation, as I pulled up beside her on the right and tooted the horn, waving... No response. Dropped behind her, pulled in on her left and tooted the horn. Again, no response. I got in front of her, still waving, but all she seemed interested in was the phone. I wonder how she found her way to the interstate, because she definitely wasn't paying any attention to what was on it.

Is it just me, or are we the only folks doing anything to the Fit? It's so rare that I see another Fit with even the windows tinted. Mods are very few and far between. Most modded Fit I've seen lives somewhere North of Dayton, Ohio. I'd see them just about every morning on my way to Detroit. VBP Sport with HFP wheels and the Sport grill.

 

Two days before yesterday; I seen a SSM GD3 sport. The day before yesterday; I seen a BOM GD3 sport in town. Yesterday, spotted two SSM Fits. One a GE8, the other GD3; both bases. And today I seen one TWB or LM GD3 base.

 

I saw 3 yesterday afternoon. All GD3s. Fort Smith, AR. Only one waved. Then today I parked next to a red GE Sport belonging to an older(than me) couple.

 

I seen three Fits within a 100 yard radius today. The first two I seen were GD3 sports, the first was a BOM and about 20 seconds later a SSM had passed as I was sitting in a Whataburger parking lot this morning. The third was a SB GE8 sport leaving a chinese buffet at around 1:20.

 

Saw 2 SSM GD3s yesterday. And I saw a TWB base the other day, at The Car Masseuse, which is a fancy auto detailer that usually traffics in high-dollar vehicles. Funny to see that humble little box in such a setting! I think their going rate is $75.

 

All I ever see is bone stock Fits! Its drivin me nuts, I feel like the only one in my part of the world. Not even window tint fer chrissakes. I did have two teenagers in a riced-to-the-max Civic compliment my Fit in the Wal-mart parking lot yesterday. I'm not sure thats a good thing but hey...

 

I had never seen a modded Fit in person until our meet. I know there are others in Houston but i still haven't seen one just driving around. I don't even bother waving any more. No one ever waved back.

 

I just seen a TWB GD3 sport on Time Warp. Its the episode about free running, body armor testing, and fireworks. The Fit is shown parked in the background while the fire chief is speaking.

 

Went to the grocery store today and parked next to a Fit and when i came out of the store their were 3 fits in a row. The owner of the third car said he really liked mine and wanted to know where he could get a cf hood for his. It was pretty cool, never talked to a fellow fitfreak outside of the forums. I liked his custom license plates too. "fit4me" I really wanna get some that say "fit-ftw"

 

Oh! I love that show! I'll watch for that episode and pay attention. TWBs are pretty rare. I kinda like the color.

 

I went to Jeff Wyler Honda in Florence, KY today to check out the new Insight, and they literally had 30 '09 Fits on the lot.

 

Lots of GE8's on the lot here as well.

I saw back to back MR and VBP Sports Saturday on 31W, the VBP sporting a donut spare. I also saw a TW Sport yesterday that had been modded a bit. Different grill (looked like they painted the black part white) and tint were visible above the median wall as it headed South on I-65. All GD3's, and none of them waved back.
