Saw a GD 3 VBP Sport early this morning. I waved but didn't see the Asian woman wave back. Then I saw 2 GD3 SSM Sports within 3 minutes of each other, waved to both. The 2nd one was being driven by a younger Asian man, the modding type, but it looked stock to me. He didn't make eye contact with me but WTH, I gave him a wave anyway.

I was watching The Amazing Race the other night, and they were in Thailand. During one scene where these guys had to pull a rickshaw down the street, there was a TW 2nd gen Fit parked on the street. Thai Fit FTW!!!

Only 4 GD3s today. The first was a NHBP that snuck up behind me under the 288/512 overpass, then I seen a SSM while going to Walmart and then seen a VBP parked alone in the back of the lot; all of those were sports. On the way home I seen a base with enkie rims that was LM.

Had an MR Sport pass the bus yesterday on I-65. They got about 1/4 mile away and stayed there for the next umptyleven miles. I see a BOM just about every day on the way to work in downtown Louisville. Their license plate reads HISSIE.

I was driving on I-275 in northern KY today when I passed a VBP Fit. I looked over, and the driver had a macaw like the one pictured below resting on his left arm! I don't know how I feel about that as a distraction, but it was hilarious!

Maybe the pirate was filming Fits of the Caribbean: Curse of the Crystal Black Pearl?

I saw a red base GE8 today and 2 GD3s.

The only Fit I saw today was mine. Too bad I didn't see my old Escort parked in the driveway before I backed into it. Raining too hard and too dark outside to look and see about damage, but I'm even more pissed off at American Express (I was on the phone with them at the time) than I was before.

I just came back from Skills USA Competition in Corpus Cristi today and only seen 6 Fits on the way there and back. Day one I only seen two GD3 Sports; SSM was the first, then a TWB later on. Day two I seen the same TWB (didn't count it again) along with a MR GE8 Sport and finally a SSM GD3 Base. Day three (today) I seen an MR GD3 Sport near the air craft carrier a mile or two north of the American Bank Convention Center, afterwards on the return trip we passed another SSM GD3 Sport; except this one had some sort of business add on the driver door.

I seen at least 25 GE8s at the McDavid Honda dealer, 1 SSM GE8 sport on I-45 and only 4 GD3s today. The GD3s were 2 MRs (1 base and sport), 1 SSM sport, and my VBP sport.

Edit: I wave at MR GD3 base driven by an older guy on the way back from the dealer but of course he didn't wave back.

BUMP!!!

I just seen a NHBP GD3 sport in Supercars Exposed on the "Royal Drive". Its 3 minutes into the show and in the background as Tanner Foust talks about the Eleanors from both Gone In 60 Seconds movies. Just look in the background for it behind a fenced in lot.

I saw a total of 13 Fits today. My own, as I installed the foglights, and another GD3 in NHBP. Come to think of it, that particular GD3 may have well been the very first Fit I ever saw (some time before I bought mine). I also saw 11 GE8s on the lot at my local dealer. One each: MR, OS, NHBP, and the new dark blue; two each TW and BBP; and 3 SSM. Except for mine, all were Sports, and only one with Navi.

I saw like 3 today. All of the ones I see are dirty too. Fit owners neglect their cars.

Aw, come on! I'd have to wash my car every couple days to keep it real pretty.

I'm near the coast. And I'm in parking garage that is covered, but also open air. When there is a bit of a drizzle (happens frequently at the coast, along with fog), all that build-up fine crud runs. And my car is white.

I get the same collection of misty fog and fine dust on my apartment windows too. But the drizzle isn't hitting my windows and collecting. My windows in the apartment just get a little more opaque as time goes on. LOL!

We cannot wash our cars here. By hand. There is no water outlet. And they don't allow washing or working on cars in the parking garage. So even if I could take down a bucket of water, there's nothing to do with it.

As I will only go to one car wash, that is a "touchless" type, I have to drive several miles. And I'm not putting on the bulk of my auto miles to get the car washed, to have it sit in the parking garage the rest of the time and get dirty, even if I'm not driving it.

I got my car in December and have about 625 miles on it so far. I'm only on my second tank of gas (that I bought, it came with a full tank), and the tank is full.

It seems kind of stupid to spend more on car washes than I do on gas, and to put more miles on the car to get the car washed than I do for my regular driving.

So, next time you see a dirty car, think "There's a thrifty, money-conscious person!"

I wash mine once a week, either by hand or at the car wash. Of course, the inside is filthy right now, but I put almost 600 miles a week on it just going to/from work.
