I figured that yours would show before mine since it was a dealer trade.
I didnt know you were getting a red Sport like me. Not sure if you mentioned it, maybe I over-read it?
A friend of mine works at Honda dealers doing body work. Holler Honda had a red Sport in 5speed. He sent me a text/pic. I MADE him go read off the VIN. It was made a while ago! 23,xxx. I couldnt believe they just got it.

Sorta the same as me. I wanted VBP, BADLY. They told me about a red one that should be in around November and I told them to put my name on it.

I know I'm beating a dead thread, but I put down a deposit in July 2006. It is now October 30th,2006. In two days it will be November,2006. Will I ever get my Fit?? Stay Tuned..... I'm trying to be patient,but........

Hang in there, martbooze. I've been waiting since June 6th. Mine should be arriving by next week or so. It's been a long wait, but it will be worth it. Yours should be not far behind. Do you have a VIN, or a build date or anything?

Walked into my local dealer (Maple Ridge, BC) looking for something new or used; test drove and then bought the car that night. Had to wait for pickup until the next night so they could do up some of my options.

I put down $250 on a VBP M/T Sport Fit on June 5, 2006. I just found out that my car (I have a VIN #) was put on a boat and is currently being shipped to the US since October 24. It is estimated that it will get to Milwaukee by Mid-Late November. If you do that Math it will take me roughly 5.5 months to get my car.
This is kinda upsetting to me since I was originally told it would take between 6-8 weeks. Oh well, I am just venting and looking forward to it coming. At least I was able to save enough to purchase it straight up from the dealer without any financing.

JonasM, are you certain that it will be a week or so?? I have a feeling that it will be the end of Nov before we get these cars! How long does it take to get from the west coast to the east? Also, what bothers me is that my dealer told me that once they are on rail, we will start getting ETA's from Honda, and there is no word yet...does that mean they have been sitting somewhere on the coast for almost two weeks now??
Anyway, it is nice when people post that they got theirs, gives me hope

I just called my dealer. The computer has an ETA of Nov 12th for mine.
My comment about 'next week' was based on 3.5 weeks after the original (tentative) build date of Oct 9th. However, looks like the build date was pushed out a week or so.

Nice man!!! Im surprised my dealer hasnt called me to tell me its been shipped. Im sure it has. Either way Id like to get steady with my new job before the Fit shows. But on the other hand I want the damn thing!!!!.
So far I have Spoon reservoir socks, Spoon radiator cap, T1R springs, just got my Mugen Visors, going to order my JDM tails, and Im picking up rims tomorrow. I also have a few little "Me Mods" that add that extra character. Give it a few days (might be 1 day) to fully transform the car. I may get lazy though.
Im getting rims that havent been done yet. Nothing JDM but I have a feeling you all will love them. Of course Im going to give them a touch of my professional spray painting techniques.

All I've got is the dead pedal. I have the FitFreak decal on order, but those will be a while. I know I need to order some film to put over the fog lights, and a remote wiring kit for the Valentine One, but nothing else just yet.
