Back when I had my integra I wanted an RSX so bad but I was 16 lol.. Still wanted one when I got my fit but I decided it would probably be my demise either actual demise or demise of my wallet because of insurance cost) and from the front it had DC5 character lol
Why would it be your actual demise? The ITR, RSX and Fit are all painfully slow.

Just sayin'

One car I think I would consider is a GSR integra with low miles..
I used to have a LS Special Edition and I miss that old girl

Thats not looking for a diamond in the rough much is it? I had a Turbo GSR, but she was stolen right out of my driveway when I had her down for service. That was the day I decided that I am never putting that kinda money into a motor ever again (just shy of 9 grand) because insurance didn't cover a dime of it even though I had the optional "aftermarket" coverage; they chose to cover my CF hood, rims, and coilovers instead of the engine. Wont make that mistake again, and as to why she wasn't in the garage...I thought it would be fine in the driveway considering I had disabled her from starting...they towed my car to steal it.

SORRY FOR OT...back to the regularly scheduled topic.

It sucks that people can't just earn things for themselves these days..
One of my favorite shows as of lately is "bait car".. I don't remember what channel it's on but it's pretty amazing how people just jump in someone's car and take off..

The only part I rethink about the fit is same as most people. Lack of power, but honda built this car for economics not racing so I guess its ok.

Funny enough, the power never bothered me that much. It was comfort - odd driving position, hard armrest that was prone to cracking, short cushion, and inadequate seat travel. Getting back into a manual, getting a bit more power, and back into a two-door were just icing on the cake. I've driven WAY slower cars than the Fit.

I like Mini, but their dealer network is crap. I last lived in a county of 500,000, and was still over 70 miles away from the nearest dealership. I don't mind it so much with something like a motorcycle, but for a purchase like a car, I want the dealer nearby for warranty service. Especially for something British ;-). Many states only have one or two dealreships.

The Countryman... I was expecting something hideous, about the size of a CR-V. It's marginally larger than a Fit. a bit wider, about 1.5" taller, but almost the exact same length. The four-door treatment did kill the looks of it though, and it just doesn't have the charm to me. I can see someone who loves Mini and needs a more practical vehicles falling for it.

The Civic Si makes me rethink my Fit purchase...at least the 8th generation and previous does, not too keen on the 9th generation styling. The Fit is fun to drive, but the Si is just on another level in my book. I'll have one someday!

Loving my 9th, all that torque gets the revs up in a flash... the Si looks even better in person than I had seen it in photos. And the i-MID/navi integration is excellent... whole interface is very well designed.

You might get an Si someday... I almost got an 8th a few years back, didn't, and finally ended up with a 9th.

I hated the styling of the 9th when I first saw pictures of them.. They're starting to grow on my now but I still don't think I would jump into one.. I would love to test drive one to feel the new motor..
I always wished they would've brought the type r hatch over.. I don't remember what year it was maybe 07 or 08??

The Type R Hatchback was being sold in Europe in 2006 and was rumored to possibly being sold here as an Acura.... It sounded good to me also... I have way to much fun in my Fit and there are still 5 to $10K in performance parts and modifications to do and then I might do some very conservative cosmetic changes to it... I definitely will not be buying $100 billet oil caps or JDM shift knobs that cost more than I have spent for 2nd hand cars I drove for a couple of years... Limited slip differential, close ratio gear set, lighter flywheel, stronger clutch, stiffer engine/transmission mounts, suspension improvements and sticky tires is the only rethinking I am considering.

And the millions who have tons of credit card debt too? Just cause people do it doesn't mean you need to be a lemming too. I think throwing 10k into a Fit makes absolutely zero financial sense, but its always fun to see the tricked out rides.

And your hobby makes financial sense? Probably not.

And its a requirement to go into debt to mod a car well? Dang, I'm doing it wrong.

And people with other hobbies/passions don't go into debt?

Spending money chasing poontang makes absolutely zero financial sense as well but I never let that prevent me from doing that either.
