a 225 is really great for K series from what ive read. never go smaller than that like some 205 guys..
hahah thanks man.
Unfortunately the only 225 that nitto has in a 17 dia NT01 is a 225/45 17. I googled tires in 225/35/17 and the only thing i saw so far was Yoko S-Drive, some Falkens and a Hankook Ventus. I REALLY want NT05's or NT01's tho...hmmm

Looks about right. Enough sidewall to give a lil but lots of tire meeting the tarmac. I might go with that for the larger sidewall = more comfy ride...not trying to build an all out race car...that im aware...but im not aware of alot these days...lol

Heres another pic i found on honda-tech of 225/45/15 while searching for pics of 225/45/17...this guy seems like a newb

205/50/15 = 225/45/15 in overall tire height. also, those size tires on those size wheels maximizes the tread to ground usage. also keeps the side walls a little bit more stiff and prevent flexing. I chose these tire sizes because they are the fastest combination for each wheel size, and I wanted a 225 minimum on the front.

im a 205 guy.... I need to get new tires this summer, maybe i will step up to 215
haha I didn't know you had 205s!! I didn't mean to insult you lol. I was refering to some of those bros on K20A. lol they just get 205s cause they are cheaper lol.
yeah bro. go go 225!!!
my wheels are 16X7 +42 I dont know how well i could fit a 225 with out raising my car up or modding the fenders. As crazy as it may sound but I love how my car sits right now and I would give up a bit of traction to run a 205 or 215 so I dint have to raise the car
so playing with a wheel calc it looks like a 225/45 would only be .7 inches taller and wider then what I have right now. My only question now is what would a 225 tire look like on a 7" wide rim
You present good arguement...now if only i can find nice wheels...
