Marcus said someone else would be driving his car down, I think.

I wanted to be there, but it was homecoming for Baylor, which is a bid deal here.

I was at CCM but Fitless , saw your fit out there. Had seen it before @ the ATB but you had different wheels. You rockin' the polished steelies for the meanwhile? I like your fit, interior is nice!

91 toyota cressida. Already got coils on it slammed. I've got some nice wheels that I'm polishing the lips on, and I have a JZX81 mark II front end I'm putting on this weekend probably.

according to the person from whom i purchased mine its a 92, altho according to the title and VIN its a 91, and I was under the assumption the line was ended in america in 91 because of the new lexus badge. wouldn't do well for toyota to make a car just as nice as a lexus for cheaper would it?

@joel Thats cool that you had one tho. What happened to it? Altho i'd wager a guess that the motor died. I'm still toying with the notion of a 1 or 2j swap for it, but someone hasn't gotten back to me yet and I'm starting to run out of funds =/
college is more important than a cool whip i suppose. just sucks having to pay for it this time around

I had purchased a supra tranny for it but decided I'm not going back to standard, i seem to drive slower in the auto. which is nice because I will save me money in insurance and tickets. Should make up for the lack is good MPG

I've got wheels that I am currently polishing lips on 17x8 +9 and 17x9 +12 iirc on the offsets, and hopefully saturday I'll have the mark II front end put on and then I'll just toy with wiring up the fogs. I'll post up some pics this weekend if everything goes according to plan.

@marcus you don't like me no more? don't call don't write. Except for that time you had a question. I'm starting to worry. =*(

@joel P.S. ur new name sucks, its confusing the shit out of me. just sayin

Well man, if you don't know me by now, I hardly call Anyone. And I'm not on the computer that much. Just on my phones inet.

Are you talking about my old intake manifold? You start with a grinder with rough grit and work your way up until you can use a compound and a buffer. To keep it from dulling, you repeat the last step when needed. I hated it hence that's why I went to a stainless steel setup for less maintenance. Also with my pipings, I plated them to reduce the amount of polishing. The initial polish will be the hardest, get ready to use a lot of sand paper. Air tools are the fastest way.

hmmm yes, the lips are stepped and gettin in there evenly is turning out to be more difficult than i had hoped. Might end up having to look into the air tools thing.

Like if its just a touch up, just get a Mothers polishing ball that you can attach to your drill bit.

nah, I bought some wheels off of VRwheels and they have some pitting around the nuts on the lips and some weird white stuff on them that won't just polish off. I went over board on the first two wheel and hit them with a copper wire wheel on a grinder, so the sanding part is taking forever. On the other two i'm just gonna use the sandpaper and hopefully that will take care of the stuff thats on the wheels, the pitting I'm just not gonna stress about. Its mostly covered by the little bolts anyway.

I should have just put these bad boys on to begin with instead of stressing it. Its not like the car needs to look perfect anyway.
