cars and coffee thing happens EVERY SATURDAY all summer long, so it will be going on, where you stayin (not exactly just general area) i live right in the middle of salt lake a stones throw from the "spagetti bowl" freeway where I-15 meets I-80
about lowering your car, do it BEFORE you come if you can i will help with MPG - i promise! if you can keep it under 75 (around 72 - 74) a lowered GE will get over 40 MPG on stock 1855516 tires, that is if your not pushing a head wind. but hey it's up to you! we have several stretches of interstate that are 80 MPH so i't hard not to just do it

Cant wont have the money sadly. $289.00 for Eibach Sportline lowering springs. Then getting a Vibrant exhaust afterwards. But im going to be staying in Clearfield, UT. Ill make it out there seeing its in Salt Lake, I think ill be able to let me check the calendar right quick and then ill let ya know. But yea I wont have money till I get back from vacation so ill wait but I really want to really bad.

 

Just finished installing the Eibach Sportline Lowering Springs on the 09 FIT, more heads are turning now that I did that. My friends even think it looks sick. But one thing I have to get used to is the bouncyness and how slow I have to go through bad dips. :/ I accidentally went off a curb today I couldn't tell where the stupid drive in part was and by the time I hit it I bottomed out and bounced everywhere in my car. Poor thing.

 

sweet, now just learn your angles on bumps and dips and you'll be set, ive never driven on eibachs so i'm not sure "how" bouncy they are, but with my sprints i have very little bounce and actually enjoy it when i do notice it.
lowered cars are so much better looking, and really do save a little at the pump, i wonder why manufactures dont work this into a final product? i guess honda does offer lowering springs for the civic SI - so maybe the'll come around someday

im hoping to have my fit back in salt lake by the time your here so we can have atleast a "mini" shoot, jared is slowly fixing his GD up with new wheels and ft. lip so i'm pretty sure we'll have a couple fits that wanna cruise and take a few shots

Yeah I had those on my 08 Fit. Loved the drop, but they were pretty bouncy lol

Yea until I get internet in my room instead of going to the library and getting free internet I can't post any updates of pictures. They wont let me use memory type devices...idk why thats just their rule. But you will probably see me Saturday morning at the coffee and cars thing. I got a decal on my front and back windsheild that says "Unique Fits" In white font with a red outline. Of course the description of my car is in my Sig so just look for a lowered Milano Red 09 Fit with black rims and you will find me around lol. The only shirts I have are military and a couple of rock bands "Devil Wears Prada" & "Bring Me The Horizon" so if you see me don't be shy to run me down and meet me. I'll be seeing you guys in a week!

 

so you're gonna be here what day? i'm most likely going to get my fit from cali next weekend, or maybe vegas, depends if i can talk my friend into driving it up to vegas and then find a ride down to vegas to get it

i'm excited to chill with another modded fit especially a red GE (i wanted red) hopefully Jared will have his wheels on by then and will want to chill too, patrick is always down to get a bite to eat so he'll probably come out, i just wish i could convince new people to post up and wanna get a couple pics with a crew of fits - oh well we'll see

About people joining all I can say is get the sites web page in decal and Utah fits in decal too and just drive around. People will eventually catch on. like me I made the "Fitfreak.net" logo in a 8x1 inch decal and put em on my car. Hell ill help the guy put his wheels on, I'm a mechanical for the army. I didn't know didly about installing springs but I did it by myself and ran into problems but found out how to fix them lol. Now I know never to do suspension again hahaha. It only cost me $45 to use a shop bay and no charge to keep my car over night and come back the next morning to install. Grr 4 mile hike from my building to the shop. But yea a few of us will be fine, whoever you can call or scrounge up that would like to chill they are more than invited. about getting more fits together - dude i have made up full color brochures and the three of us have placed over 250 of them everywhere we went/go, i work at the dealer and i would put fitfreak.net decals in almost every fit in our shop for a few months and people still don't post up and ever wanna chill, it's freakin crazy, jared still has the utah fits logo on his car and we both have fitfreak.net decals on but to no avail

 

Hmm, I know someone with a orange aveo but I haven't seen a red one. Depends on what part of base she works, Ft. Hood is big. Alright I was just offering, trying to be nice. Wow lol that sucks, I was thinking about doing something like that and putting them under the windshield super on all the fits around here or if I can catch them just greet them and tell them. But lol that sucks it isn't working out up there. Anyways however many ppl is whatever, I'm just trying to do something while I'm up there.

yeah i work several weekends a month but usually i don't work till 10am so i can still hit the C & C , ive only been to one and it seemed a bust of sorts as only a few cars had showed up before i bounced, we'll hit it up or just chill another day your here

Yea like I said my girl pulled the family time card so I'm gonna have to skip the c&c sadly. :/ I'd like to see other ppls cars. Ok sounds good, ill probably be free on the 4th if her family don't pull another family time card.
P.s. Tell your friend that I have Unique Fits in big lettering on the fron and back window so i shouldnt be that hard to spot.

***EDIT*** this carwash isn't even there anymore! it was torn down and an apartment complex is there now (less than two years ago)

My first choice of car I wanted to buy was a mini cooper s, my dreams cars are: Toyota Supra, 350Z, & 370Z. I'd like to find a stock Supra and build it up myself for my next car. and I'm not gonna rice it out, its gonna be wicked! ^_^ There is a 350Z that goes to the drag strip I go to and its name is "The Devil's Z" this car was running low 10's. Rich mofo, I wanna have something like that. lol

 

Just now actually looking at the FIT what happened to the hood? I think I blew a fuse in my 12V splicer lol. Got to drop by Auto Zone to get another one. my car is in need of a lot of things right now and its not even funny. > Damn ppl and their vandalism, pisses me off, why does it have to be my car that gets the nasty crap doen to it???

 

One more day till I start the road trip. Can't wait for tomorrow night.
