I wont be able to make it to the track, i might be going to Idaho this weekend. There are a few more pics on there. But i thought i would let you guys know, If i dont have army stuff going on August 4-5, i'm heading up to Boise idaho for the IR208 car show! Its going to be a huge turn out this year, and last year they only had one fit. So i'm wanting to Bring more Fit style to the event. They have alot of shit planned for it. They are working with the Local police as well. After the event, the police will escort overyone on the freeway for a huge photoshoot! Info is all here

Lovin' all the new pics! Back in town again after my trip home to Hawaii. I saw soooooo many Fits there in the islands. It was cool! Tons-o-fits! Glad to be back though, washed up the ride and ready to cruise again! Hit a brutha up! We gotta get more Fits on the road here.

 

thought i post this here , if we can get a couple more to head up for this, i'll take my fit, if not then i'll be taking my crx


also there is a car meet this weekend called "slam saturday" it's at 10:00 pm (yes at night) till 1:00am it's at in and out burger in centerville, i'm going up if anyone wants to tag along - just hit me up

 

i just registered, it go time, anyone wants to caravan just let me know, i'm not opposed to going up friday night, and crashing in a hotel, or even staying sat night there too, i'm easy!

i was also thinking of hitting up the park city arts festival on sunday (i havent been in years - and remember it's one of the best ats festivals in the state) if anyone wants something to do on that sunday, we could GoPro up the canyon (that reminds me, i have two edited videos, but youtube won't let me post them because of the music being copyrighted - so you guys need to check them out) i'll post them without music if i have to soon and link it here so keep an eye out

Just wanted to introduce myself here as well... I picked up an 07 fit sport a month or so ago for a helluva deal that I just couldn't pass up. I posted a full intro thread in the noob section if you wanna check it out but still. I've met vtecfit1 before and I saw a couple fits at ir208. Who owns the red gd? What suspension are you running?

As far as plans go, nothing too crazy as my fit is my dd, I want some tein s-techs, tint, type v spoiler from aj racing, and maybe a new front lip. I'm trying to restrain myself so I can put my money into my other car, a 97 ek hatch, but we all know how that goes.

I'm sure I'll meet everyone eventually though.

if you want the lip from cali, just wait for a fit meet and we'll run down there, i try to make a socal fit meet every year and i'm pretty sure KrazEkid will cruise down too, they usually have a end of summer meet in a month or so

 

NOT to be rude but unless your EK is garaged, STOP putting money into it. you live in salt lake where the police don't investigate stolen cars and without an imobilizer key it "will" get jacked!

Oh... It's definitely garaged. I'm not new to the scene LOL. I've been lucky so far to not have anything stolen but I'm super paranoid about that stuff. I think I've mentioned my EK like twice on UtahHondas.... and those were very vague....

I met you at Shawn Shreve's old building that he used to coat at before he got kicked out. I still have a pic of your old white GD from a Supremacy meet a couple years ago. I really liked that car... I'm still firm on liking the GD more than the GE.... sorry... LOL. Maybe it's just something that will need to grow on me.

As for the lip... I'm really not too serious about getting it. I'd love to... but this is my daily. I don't really want to pour a whole ton of money into it. If I could get it without too much hassle I would... Now if I could find someone selling a Type V spoiler that's already painted SSM I would jump on that... haha. I would like to get a new front lip eventually but that'll be a ways down the road.

Anyone want to help me get my OEM visors installed? I'm sure I could figure it out but I just wanna make sure they are done right the first time.

 

Have to hang on to the Fit for a little longer. Maybe next Summer I can take off and see what the fuss is about in Cali. Let me know when they do the big meets, maybe by then I will have saved up enough to have done something to my car and have enough to go to Cali and Utah and crash there and stay at someones house. Not my ex's, we aren't talking anymore...at all. Maybe a hi here and there but nothing more. I DOn't have an instagram yet, but i'll look you up, you can crash at my place if you're not apposed to sleeping on a couch, the cali meets are cool but seriously noone really cares if there are mods done to a car, they respect mods it's just not a big deal to them, it's cool to to hang with them and they always have a good photographer in the bunch, i'll let you know if there is any big meets anywhere, i've always wanted to come to texas and meet the freaks out your way too so keep me in the know also!

 

So... I picked up a DVD player and was planning on putting it in the Fit but I've heard that all of the dash kits out there are crap. I've heard bad things about the Metra kit and the Scosche kit. Does anyone know of a good kit? If not, I may just put it in the Civic and do the mod to run the subs off the stock amp.

Any help is appreciated.
