Hey sorry for the slow response, we just got settled into the shop.

However, in regards to the Tanabes, both springs are aimed for a ride that is more comfortable. The Tanabes actually have a softer spring, however, with a softer spring, it could increase the chance of the shock bottoming out.

If you wanted to compare the drop of the two, T1R lowers more, so it is more suitable if you want to run aftermarket wheels too. I've noticed that the Tanabes look good with the stock wheels, however, when you have a set of wheels with a thinner side wall, the drop on the Tanabes doesn't seem to get rid of the fender gap as well as the T1R.
