Just wanted to post my impressions of the quick shifter - it's great. Installation was indeed a little bit of a pain, but nothing outrageous. I had good success in removing the "change level ball seat" by putting the assembly on the floor, bracing it down with both feet, pulling up on the shifter with one hand, and using a screwdriver with the other to push in tabs one by one. I used a spray can of white lithium grease on reassembly, and have had no issues with it needing to break in or loosen up. Neutral re-centered itself the way it should the first time I put it in the car.

Anyway, shift quality is now more enjoyable than my old BB6 Prelude . . . which has helped the sting of it's passing fade a little bit more. Now all I need are some coilovers and about 50hp, and I won't miss it at all.
