You have it backwards this is something we cannot do as no one makes one. There are butt loads of companies that make if for the JDM/EDM model. They mount to the dash with some brackets at the bottom the look like a hook.

 

Driving home from work today a tool in a want-to-be cop car passed me and as he did he stuck his hand out the window and gave me the thumbs down. It dint bother me as much as it would have a few years ago. I know for this one tool there are 50 otheres that love my car and have told me so. Plus. . .

adjusted the valves today... certainly helped... felt smoother all around...

bought a $3 mirror from pepboys and double-sided-taped them to the passenger mirror... bam = jdm visor for $3...

also adjusted the clutch pedal down so the throw is much shorter... i like it a lot... easy too...

finally, i replaced the front brakes with thatrotorshop rotors, hps pads, and ate's sl.6 brake fluid... feels great...

bored today, so I took out my fog light covers and put in my fog lights back in. Im also debating if I should put the volks back on for a bit.

 

Well cleaned it this weekend. Looks like im about to get a J's rep lip used on here got it for a good price i think. I think my J's grill arrived today as well. It's funny i said i would not mod the car untill its payed off. I all ready have mats, skunk springs on the way,J's grill on the way, JDM passenger visor, and now a J's Lip on the way. But after that i am done maybe some slim jdm whindow visors. After i pay more of it off i will get some NRs in white for it and a bike rack.

 

dude about 3 months ago, some kid in a stock 1st-gen xb on steelies came up fast, swerved in front of me, and braked when i was just chillin with the traffic flow at like 70mph and threw me a thumbs down. i was in shock that he cut me off outta nowhere all dangerous like that, so i calmly changed lanes (there was plenty of room around me in all lanes, so he literally went out of his way to cut me off) and gradually pulled up alongside him on the freeway. i just wanted to see what kind of f*cking idiot does sh*t like that. and as i started to pull up to him, he gave me a thumbs up. and then while i was alongside him, he gave me like 3 more thumbs ups and nodded at me. WTF just happened? i don't even know..

i just shrugged it off and kept driving, didn't even gesture or mouth anything to him. i was completely dumbfounded.

 

Picked her up from the bodyshop last wednesday. They screwed up my cf rear spoiler (glass installer turned it upside down and scratched the hell out of one side) which they fixed. They also forgot to re-install my radio antenna, and blew the fuse for my power door locks and diasbled the alarm. Gad I hate dealing with incompetent boobs laying their mitts on my car! It is wonderful having her back though.....

 

Jeez, it sounds like the folks who worked on your Fit don't know pay attention to details. Hope you got some sort of comp for that and its good to know that you got your car back.

Damn nice rotors! i've heard a lot of great things about these... only thing is they're site is'nt very complete... is that an aluminium hat on these? do they weight less than OEM?

It has been too damned hot for me to stay outside long enough to get anything finished that I have started and it is really making me feel like crap.... The big shop fan in the barn just isn't big enough and what I am doing is inside and under the dash where I can't get much air... I think that I am getting too old to do this stuff as quickly as I want to and I am too strapped for cash to pay to have it done.... My 13 year old neighbor that comes down and gives me a hand sometimes is staying inside most of the time and his cousin hasn't been outside in months unless his daddy kicks on his butt and drags him out.

The USDM "groove" on the dash seems perfectly positioned for it though.

Anyhowwww got my JDM CCFL Projector lights installed around couple days ago! it's on the link on my signature, lemme know if you guys like it or not ahaha because i love it so much. Every time i drive by a car i would look at the reflection of the front part of the car to see my sexy headlight's halos. Might sound childish but i don't care, i love my jazz! Haha!

mmmm today i went up a high curb as i turned left with about 220kg worth of items in the car, there was no major damage.. Just a scratch on my back left rims , feel so shit afterwards.
