Man today was a horrible day. Went and did this today just to find out this no matter how you try to align it, it will not align correctly.

I hope that there is a way to make it work because it would really look great... Your car looks real good already.

yeah i hope so too. i just cant wait to put my new wheels on. thats the only real thing i am looking forward to now. hopefully the grill will come soon so i can cover up the front. makes me really mad everytime i see it with no grill or emblems. just looks like it was in an accident or someone stole the front off the care.

Is this a aftermarket grille purchased for your specific model and year?

Drove it back home after selling my cressida to my brother and giving up on selling the fit. At least I still have fit love in my heart.

** Important**
Spoon/ Js racing has been selling counter parts from China so make sure you check the box and where it actually came from**

damn my j's grille wasn't perfect but it fit a hell of alot better then that. Looks like your going to have to do some body work to get it to fit.

Japanese and American companies have been selling stuff from Korea, Taiwan and China since the 1980s but just not openly saying so. It has been common with bicycles and musical instruments as well and a lot of the stuff is really pretty good stuff... I am into resonator guitars and have Korean Guitars that are nicer than a Gibson custom shop guitar I have that sells for 5 times as much. Hohner Big River Harps from China that are as good as what comes out of Germany also

Proper grille alignment/placement

I have found that some grilles don't fit if you just place them where they are supposed to be with securing properly, usually with the top portion of the replacement J's grille screwed in the oem bumper placing a copious amount of clear silicone glue on the rest of the back of grille that sticks out and then binding the bottom portion of the grill to the bumper, which is the tricky part. You can simply run a string on each corner of the grille all the way through to the back of the bumper bring it out of the lower grill section and back to where you started at and simply draw the strings tight enough together to force the silicone applied grille into to place. Clean excess glue, leave string in place until the proper drying process has taken place, then remove strings and wa-la your done. One other thing is that from the photo's I can't tell he removed just the emblem and the grills. the entire section that holds the grills and the emblem has to be removed first by removing the two screws located on the back (behind the bumper). I know this one is long but it worked for me, "hope it helps"

Hmm i have never seen a grill fit perfect yet. Mine sure does not but does fit better than that. IK just used double sided tape on mine no screws. If u want i can take a pic of it from the side mine does not sit flush. Some times im thinking i hate it due to it not fiting perfect but it looks great i just need to get that beam in the middle painted black on mine soon so its a little bit more hidden and put some mesh grill behind it.

Yeah I took off the number and removed the whole grill n the two screws that hold it in. I would appreciate it u did take a pic of the grill from the side and top. Just waiting to see if the new grill fits once it comes in.

I ordered some S2000 filters and decided i should finally change my oil on Friday(always used Royal Purple, oil life was 30% @7800 miles with stock honda filter :P). I didnt drive it much this weekend. Today, i didnt feel much of a difference in performance. However, i still managed to get 36 avg mpg on my 7 mile trip to work while driving really rough
