I had the same problem a few days ago! there was an horrible rattle in the car because everything was stuck in ice... i started by using a torch, but the best way i found was running boiling water through a PVC pipe from the engine bay... it cured the problem right away

Where did you get them. How did you mount them and can you see them with the grill in place?
They are hella supertones...the best price I found was on Amazon.
I mounted them by removing the cover to the hook latch and drilled 2 holes in the metal piece below the latch. We marked an equal distance out from the H in the grill with the bumper held up with a paint pen...the hellas come with metal pieces on the back that we just attached to the car with the holes we drilled and adjusted to the marks we made. very simple for that part...then you have to do the wiring.
I will get a pic of them with the grill in place... you can see them. It was late and we didn't take a picture from the front of it finished.

i really LOVE you gd3 shg_chiquita, great job
black housing headlights would really set off the black fog light housings
I definitely want black headlight housing. Hopefully that'll get done this winter. I'm also trying to get tint soon. We painted the hellas with the same paint as the wheels.

DDM HID fog lights

Well, I got a decent deal on a HID kit for my foglights (DDM thin HID ballast) and I decided to try them out. I couldn't pass up the deal for $35 for a brand new kit!

I installed them and so far I am really happy! Bright as hell yellow!! Now to see how long they last...

I thought of that too but the local store in SD where I get them from will replace the bulbs for free if they fail in 30 days.

After thirty days, it's $12 for a pair if they break. Still cheaper than buying Nokya yellow bulbs.

I've researched these guys and they will replace your ballasts for free if they fail, no matter how long you have them.

Like I said earlier, it's a test and so far it's going good.

I have to change mine before the cold front arrives.... It's 82 degrees right now and it was 85 a little while ago.. I guess I'll change out my tires while I have to be sweating anyway

^^ its 23 degrees here. I pulled my Moms van out of the garadge, turned on a heater and it really was not that bad. I have changed oil when it was colder.

I like freezing weather but when it is just above and the humidity is high my bones ache... I just want it to get cold enough that my balls don't sweat for a change..

Installed the Skunk2 short shift kit! Shifting feels soooo much better. It's a ridiculously cheap way to improve how the Fit drives, I should have done it directly after installing my sway bar. Also, I accidentally put a hole in the shift boot when I was reinstalling the center console--oops! It's really not noticeable though.

The paint was done by my fiance, SHG_Mike. He sandblasted the wheels (they had a few coats of paint, bought them used off of a spec miata) and then painted them he did a great job, and the paint itself holds up better than both of us expected
