Yes. I had the dealer replace my glove box too and that rattle(s) went away, up until last month when another rattle appeared there. I simply applied some velcro felt strips to the lips and voila - noise gone.

At just under 2,000 miles on my Fit and now having seen some cold temps, I have no rattle as of yet. I'm aware of this and I listen for it, but the cabin is as quiet as a mouse thus far.

That's a bit worrisome that the rattle came back. My rattle was a light, rapid tapping noise, very noticeable not just to someone who spends a lot of time in the car but also to passengers sitting in it for the first time. It happened continuously if there was any unevenness in the pavement (certainly on concrete pavement, for example) but could be stopped for a while by opening and then slamming shut the lower glovebox. Does this sound like the rattle you had? Is it the same rattle that came back? If so, I might eventually have to ask you for details on the Velcro treatment.

my glove box intermittently rattles. no rhyme or reason. its design clearly predisposes it to rattling.

when driving, just place the palm of your hand against the lower glove box door. it vibrates constantly, whether or not it's making a noise.

the thing should just be called a "rattle box."

can someone post pictures of where they put the weatherstripping on the lower glove box to eliminate the rattle. The buzzing sound was taken care of through weatherstripping outside on the window..

Now i have like a bubble popping sound.. which i think is either from the top or bottom glove box..

No rattles here, but if there's anything other than paper in my glovebox, the items will rattle. I credit the firm ride and plastic used.

I used to think my glove box rattles, but it was the stuff inside that was causing the noises.
