Might be able to stuff some foam or a thin strip of rubber under the fob to push the buttons tight against the outside of the cover. If that cover is sturdy enough it would at least give you something to hang it from.

ok that fob cover arrived 10x faster then the inside of the fob

I put it in and at first I was like, dam its gonna be too loose, but then after I put it on the key ring it was much tighter. I love the camo look, and Im super happy with the final result. Here are some pictures. After I took the pictures I took the fob out and cut a cardboard trace with scissors, then put it on with double sided tape. wow much better. If I just put 1 more layer of card board it will be even better. Im very confident with the thickness of the rubber cover, as I seems it will be impossible to rip off the keyring. I also feel confident if dropped or stepped on the rubber will protect.

Im totally happy. I love the keyless entry. Push unlock once and it just opens the driver door, second time opens all doors. When you push lock once it locks the doors, then the second lock makes the horn honk. Since I dont have the alarm, what does the second lock horn honk do???

after I added 2 layers of cardboard to the bottom only. Its hard to tell any difference, but its very snug now. Sorry for the bad picture quality as Im using a small rca wonder, el cheapo 85 bucko

thanks! Its funny you posted this, because just tonight I also noticed the feature, when you unlock the doors, and wait 30 seconds, the doors will relock. I was going to post this, but then you posted this page to reply to my question, and there it was, in the NOTES of #2. Im sure there is a thread about both features.

cool stuff. this car rocks!

do they even sell a fob hard shell cover with no key? I would still get the camo rubber cover for my other inner fob

So I got the same camo cover as FIT410 did. I used a piece of lucite as a base, drilled a hole in one end and attached the remote to it w/velcro squares. I then placed it in the silicone camo cover. Works and looks great. I will post a pic if anyone wants.

I got Burns Honda to cut and program my keys for free yesterday. Can't beat that and having the key and remote as one unit is very nice!

Sweet thanks for the pic. Your lucite backing is super fancy. I'll probably just use what I can find around the house lol.

I just got my FOB's today so just waiting on the covers Although I plan on using the remotes tomorrow - having to use keys is a major pita when you are used to keyless entry. I always have to go back to the car to lock it :/

Ok despite it being 10:30 at night I decided to suck it up and go outside and program my remotes. Worked beautifully and would have worked the first time if i learned how to count

key and fob aren't the same. to get free shipping i'd assume you'd have to order the key with the fob attached (and cut the key part off)

Has anyone tried this on the 2010 base model? I just got one today (yeah me!) and am already missing my keyless. I have ordered the key and will test it out and report back. I assume if it doesn't work, I can return the key.

Yes... I bought a remote entry fob (not a new key) from CFL Honda, and it was easy to program and works perfectly on my 2010 base AT Silver Storm Fit!
