Coming along well the paint is a week old and I'm off "call" @ work yea!
Wanted to install today but weather was too iffy w/T-storms.
And Tex I know you gave me the Napa P#'s for your shock's hookup but danged if I know were to find that post looked most every where would you be so kind as to jar me ol' memory? PS black3sr has a lighter wood grain dash in his ge and it look Great. If i find it I'll send it along to ya.
Mike

Installed a woodgrain dash kit and LEDs under the hood a few days ago...
I really like all that you have done to your car....I might need to try and copy some of your ideas to my car, like what has been done with striping tape and LEDs. .... The wood grain on the dash looks perfect on a car the color of yours ..... How are doing with the purple air shocks? ..

Not my cup of tea but it's a nice custom look.
I think a more dark marble look would have looked better on the Fits dark modern interior or even a brushed alum. look.
I had something similar on my CL-S.

I installed Eibach sportline springs over the weekend and put on the new wheels. Now I just need to do something about the rubbing.

Swapped out the 2nd Meep Meep horn (alarm) with a Fiaam horn I had lying about from a previous car - much better! Was going to give it a bath - but showers predicted for all day. Will have to wait for Saturday.
Got the Monroe air shocks on MzFiT and no more scrubb'n the inside of the fenders!!! Ya know we all say we like the mods we do to our beloved Fits, but this is a good mod I recommend it. It took 2hours with me and my buddy Jim from start to stop. With the rear so much stiffer bumps that scrubbed the wheels are no prob. with the 1" spacers and new taller Goodyear rubber there was no way I could let anyone ride in the back seat and that was becoming a drag!
I used the Mannx thread step by step and it was a snap. Thankx Dave
So now I'm the proud owner of a set of plum crazy airshocks @ 40PSI

Finally delivered my clients detailed Lexus GX470 (had it for 3 days) so I washed my Fit because it gets to sleep in the clean/warm garage again finally.

If you look at the housings, there is an arrow that points to the right showing you which way to push to remove them. I just got a rag (to make it easier on my fingers) and carefully, but firmly pushed it to the right. It doesn't make a very loud click or anything once it's loose, so after applying pressure, keep checking to see if it has already come loose, because the plastic tabs can break easily by pushing too hard. Then remove the assembly and take it apart. That will make sense once it's out of there.
removed my front plate and noticed a few scratches from the dealer frame rubbing. gonna wash my car wedesday and see how bad they really are and i bought my progress RSB. should receive it on thursday.
then nothin for a while. need to save some dough
