What did you do to your GE fit today?
Yup, Sprintex, sold by Jon Bond Performance, hence the JB label.
It's been almost 3 weeks since I last washed my car so I took the time to thoroughly wash the car inside and out.
Put her to bed for the evening under her new NOAH car cover, notice how the car is completely covered including the wheels! This is completely water-proof

Nice, hopefully I can check them out in 2 weeks!
Awesome, looks good. I have been contemplating doing that or getting the diffuser section of the OEM bumper painted
Don't get too excited, it's nothing too major
Congrats!

Checked their site - http://www.sprintex.com.au/wp-conten...-Jazz-2013.pdf. This shows the stock hp at ~70 kw (~94 hp) and then with the SC it goes up to almost 102 kw (~136 hp). Nice gain! The torque also shoots up like CRAZY. How do you like it?

But I definitely like it!
Well butts. Hope you get it figured out. Definitely seems fun. And considerably cheaper than most pre-fab turbo kits out there.
As for pricing, I guess I kept referencing what folks were saying about "piecing" together a turbo for much less, yet making more power and all that.

Yeah you can piece stuff together, you just really have to know what you're doing. I guess a shop could help you out and still be a little cheaper than the pre-fab turbo kits. Plus you might end up paying a shop to install one of those anyway too if you didn't have the knowledge/skills/resources to do it all yourself. Be expensive either way. Glad people are putting these Sprintex units on though, it's cool to see.
It's a supercharger, not turbo. Superchargers run off the crank, meaning it adds an extra pulley into the serpentine system. I would say MPG would have to go down because of that alone. It's also a little bit of added weight, plus you're probably going to be driving it a little harder just cuz you have the extra power and it's fun! Turbo setups recycle exhaust gas to create more power, so they're technically more efficient than naturally aspirated engines, if tuned right that is. But then you have to factor in that you, again, might be driving it harder and faster because of the added fun factor, so right there you're going to be burning through more gas and fuel economy would probably still go down. And adding a turbo system adds weight as well, which is not going to help MPG any either.
Probably just needs a little further tuning to sort out. Interesting option, though. Good bang for the buck.
I would think the type of people supercharging a car aren't as interested in hypermiling as much as they are having fun in a car.

. But with the Fit's already pretty fair fuel economy, it's still going to be decent even if you put some forced induction on it. I bet even a compound charged Fit would still get mpg in the upper 20s after a full day of being pounded on a track.
Kind of an afterthought, but in the interest of balancing out the car a little, I'd consider relocating the battery to the trunk as a means of offsetting the extra weight. That being said, unless you're on a track, you probably wouldn't really see a difference.
+1 for the SC reducing your MPG's slightly
I would happily lose MPG's to gain HP!
Not to worry, the older models had that issue but not these.
I have had at least 5-6 different covers between my 2 cars
