Ended up replacing my side marker lights and headlights. Went from Sylvania zXe to SilverStar Ultras. zXe's only lasted two years, but I was really happy with the light output compared to stock. I would definitely buy them again, but right now I need the extra longevity.

disable your daytime running lights, silverstar ultras lasted 4 months in my car before popping the lowbeam filaments.

DRLs on our fits are low voltage lowbeam circuit, and not a seperate circuit like some other vehicles. low voltage means the bulb attempts to draw more amperage, and BOOM heatbomb

Sounds more like a defective bulb to me. Did you inspect them before installing them? And did you make sure not to touch the bulb itself? If properly made and free of defects and any oils, that shouldn't happen.

I'm really digging the tail lights :-)

How much did they set you back? Install that difficult?

Its low voltage high beam circuit.

With H4 bulbs, the light output is the same pattern as high beam, in that it also shines upwards into drivers' eyes, just at less intensity.

With my dual bulb setup, it lights up the high beam bulb (at lower intensity).

I use alcohol to clean the bulbs before install. Use dielectric grease on connector side.

This happened to THREE sets of bulbs. The only bulbs that outlasted them is the factory ones. The factory ones were perfectly fine, I just at the time wanted a whiter brighter bulb.

Killed the DRLs, installed HIDs, never looked back!!

Yeah, those were left over from the previous owner. Happy to see them off the car.

Very nice, always been a fan of that wheel.

I imagine that design would be a pain to wash though for me with all those spokes!

Finally got a chance to work on my Fit for a little bit... I re-did one of the wire connections from the Sprintex supercharger wiring harness.

The strange thing is... my car now only works smoothly with my laptop connected to the piggyback unit. If I disconnect the laptop, it pops a CEL and throws trouble codes (even if I disconnect with the engine off, the codes come after starting the engine, which also struggles to start when disconnected).
